This could be a pivotal year for Apple. They seem to be struggling to innovate, while also maintaining supply, for their flagship device, the iPhone. Meanwhile, Amazon is further pushing into a space that Apple has zero presence in, and cutting into video calling. This could be a big deal...

Sadly, Apple also has zero presence in the fridge with tv/device connectivity features market also...

Tell us whether or not the device will have the fingerprint sensor in the display. That's pretty much all we care about at this point, we know it's going to be limited and hard to get, it always is. These reports are literally reiterating the same things over and over lol.

This is not something Apple cares about, because this isn't what most people buying the device hinges on. We might have a preference, but this won't make it an inferior product to anything on the market except the previous generation iPhones. There is a lot of innovation Apple has made with it's products that make it inferior to previous models, but still top-of-class when compared to other companies. (BTW, I agree with you about the sensor)

Some are. Some are not. A lot is based on ripping off other rumour sites and repackaging it as though he came up with it.

If you have some sort of leak or source directly from the supply chain, I feel like you are entitled to choose what you think might be a good report or not.

To some, $1000 is just chump change, they have enough income not to think about it.
Yeah, to a few, $1000 is nothing but a random number in their bill. But that does not change the fact that $1000 is still a large number when comparing with $10.

Also, there are also many guys upgrade iPhone every year despite they can only earn like $10000 a year. $1000 to them is indeed a lot of money but this does not prevent them from upgrading every year. In turn, they would not pay Music, movie etc. even though those could be as cheap as $0.99.

Therefore, value judgement and the amount of disposable income are both affecting someone's purchase decision but there is no exact order which one is the prerequisite of the other.
