SGP Neo Hybrid EX Case Not worth the hassle!!

The first case came with a damaged bumper, which SGP promptly replaced. After several attempts, I could not get the top sleep button to work properly or consistently. The volume buttons worked fine but nothing I tried would resolve the top sleep button alignment problem - regardless of how carefully I fitted the case! I am NOT a case rookie -- getting this thing on/off really was frustrating.

In the end, after several attempts to get the bumper sleeper button to work and repositioning it, the bottom [VERY FRAGILE] polycarbonate frame where the charger plugs into BROKE!

CASE PROS: looks good in yellow with carbon fiber back protector (but looks ain't everything!)

CONS: way too fragile, poorly designed bumper, overly hyped!

I'd say its quite a bit more shallow then the apple bumper, but still compatible with most headphones.

So did you read the instructions on how to install this ?
Removing the case is the exact opposite, if not easier

anyone breaking their cases when installing/removing this case... need to avoid working on electronics or anything delicate then

on sgp site you can get new plastic part of the neo line case in any color along with the dock covers. or just search them on ebay they are also on there.

Really appreciate the feedback and great pics from the previous posts here, and so impressed that I attempted to order a few cases. Their website kept giving error message indicating shipping transaction error. After several different attempts, I gave up. No big deal, their loss and I'll move on to other cases.

I had the same problem last weekend when I was trying to purchase it, I contacted them quickly and they told me since USPS is doing some changed with their shipping rates, their website was also trying to accomodate the changes that's why that error message keeps on popping up. Get one from Amazon, that's where I bought mine. I didn't think it's still not fixed at the moment.

So far it really looks nice, how long do you think will that yellow coloring last? I'm worried about discoloration in the long run.

As far as I know from my experience, I haven't had any chipping problems or discoloring. I've been using the case for a few months now off and on. Still one of my favorite bumpers. And be very careful with the band, quite a few people have already broke it, good thing is you can order just the bands now in different colors.

Oh thanks for the reassurance, I don't think I'll be taking it off anyway. I was just really worried more about the discoloration. Time to look for a yellow wallpaper to match the case
