Wait,

You closed your other channel? I was wondering why you hadn't posted a video in a while. Now I know. :)

Yeah, I couldn't keep up with two channels between school and work so I decided to just keep one channel and upload every once in a while.

Sorry for not giving anyone a heads up.

Just thought I'd post a quick update to let everyone know that the silicone portion of my case is starting to sag in the back just like JNGold had mentioned. It took a little less than a month for it to start happening to me, but it's definitely noticeable now and I can only assume that it's going to get worse. I guess I'll contact SGP to see what they say but I don't have much faith considering their poor history with customer service.

Can you post pics of how bad it is? Hopefully CS takes care of it for you.

It's not horrible yet but it's bad enough that I noticed it, and it will only get worse. If SGP asks me for pics (which I assume they will), I'll be sure to post a pic or two here as well. This sagging problem makes me think they should have used TPU instead of silicone.

SGP Neo Hybrid

Just received received received Neo Hybrid in matte smooth black. Some impressions are:

:Silicon is VERY smooth. Not your typical silicon
:While the band is THIN, it's really dont matter once installed on the phone.
:Lay on table design
:For it to be a case, it's very form fitting and thin. Hardily no additional weight.

Pics coming soon

have been using the Matte for about 3 weeks. so far so good.

A couple of questions for users of this case.

Will the iphone in this case fit the Apples desktop charger for iPhone?

I am also looking for a good earphone. Klirpsch 4i or something like that. Will the 3.5mm plug fit into the earphone hole on the iphone via the case?

Rgds

If you mean the Dock then no, it wont fit. I got some Beats by dre with the angled tip and they fit perfectly

Anybody else experiencing the saggy silicone i've been reading about? I'm on the verge of purchasing this case, only this saggy issue thats holding me back.

If you mean the back of the case, I have.

How bad is it? Is it very noticeable??

Depends how "anal" you are. After about a month of using the case, I began to notice when touching the back of the case as I used the phone, I could feel a bit of "give" in the silicone. It was very slight but annoying enough for me to place an order for the EX version of the case. I am not quite sure why this happened as I very careful with my devices even with cases on. The silicone was not exposed to any environmental extremes or rough use to explain why it happened.

That being said, I am now very happy with the Neo EX with the SGP Cube back skin. At the very least I have the Neo Matte outer bumper as a replacement for the Red EX that I have now.

Same thing to me...about a month case.I think the problem isn't vissible taking photos of the back of the phone.Maybe a video could help.Somehow air gets in there between iphone's back and silicon part of the case.

They told me to contact Cretouch since that's who I bought the case from. Waiting to hear back from Cretouch now to see what they're going to do about it.

That's odd considering that Cretouch is just a reseller. Not jinxing you or anything but that doesn't bode well.

Are you surprised? This is SGP we're talking about here. Their website does state that the warranty only applies to items purchased from sgpstore.com though. Why they don't honor the warranty if you purchase from an authorized reseller is beyond me.

I believe that cretouch is an authorized reseller and SGP's website does say to contact the authorized reseller to ask about their policies. Unfortunately, cretouch only has a 30-day replacement warranty so I may be screwed. I guess that's what happens when you try to save a few bucks on shipping. SGP should honor their own warranty for their authorized resellers though - that only seems right. Hopefully cretouch will make an exception or something. I'll keep you posted.

I see what you're talking about - looks like a screwup on their website. Try ordering from cretouch if you really want to get your order in right away.
