im used to stick the protector on til i change my phone(thats abt 1 year). So far i never tried pricy SP like the SGP Oleo before, and kinda expected them to last abit longer(in terms of being fine scratches resistant). Can't help but think im abit disappointed in this..

But well, the minor scratches doesnt affect clarity at all, just those slightly deeper scratches caused by a swipe of keys(ouch :( ) has a slight line of rainbow..

and yeah, i love the clarity :)

I'm debating on ordering it from iThrough.

For $3.99, who wouldn't want a nice shield, that is anti fingerprints?

I'd give it a shot, only 4 bucks. If it's all legit it's an awesome deal and I'll put an order in for a few sets as well. Whoever ordered it from ithrough, Keep us updated.

I've bought the SGP Oleophobic along with some other items at 10th february. Still didn't arrive, but it usually takes around 1 month to reach me in Brazil. Probably next week, as soon as I receive (if I do) I'll post pics. It was shipped at 24th february. So, as expected, slow shipping.

Ok, the products I've bought arrived today. Shipping was slow as expected, still faster than SW-Box. As far now, the quality of the products seems to be very good, as the original (Actually can't see a single difference between the SGP screen protectors boughts from the official store than ithrough's).

Mine is GSM version, but the bumpers seem to fit exactly the same on both iPhone's. I will take some pics of the bumpers later, I am currently using my official white apple bumper, all the stuff I've bought is still in the boxes, haven't tried anything yet, just checked the content.

I paid something like 20-25$ for all that stuff + shipping, everything seem to be ok :)

i've been using sgp's oleo since sept 2010

the oleo coating does wear off after a couple of months so u'd get oil/grease onto it but easy to wipe off

it totally doesnt affect the retina display and almost invisible, so its quite good.. and now has a few hairline scratches on it...

I like the SGP Oleo as well but I must say that after 1-2 months it starts to lose the Oleo coating and fingerprints and grease do become an issue just like the other clear protectors on the market.

I was logging in to say the exact same thing. While it is amazing for the first month, maybe slightly more, you'll change your tune.

As soon as my current oleo wears out (soon) I am going to try the new SGP ultra optics. Anyone tried those yet?

I do like the SGP Oleo, but in my experience, the coating wears off quickly and they are highly prone to scratching.

I switched to the SGP Ultra fine. Harder to put on but less distortion and fingerprints. Have noticed no scratches as yet.

I haven't tried this specific version yet (only bought the oleo, which lasted 2 months), but there was a post or two here that indicated the ultra optics protector making a "zip" sound while the users swipe their finger across their screens. Maybe a bad batch? If you end up purchasing this version, please let us know. I'm interested in using this as an alternative to my current PS Antiglare HD one.

The zippy sound is most likely because of the texture of the film.
I happen to have used both the PS antiglare HD and the SGP ultra optics.
PS: Very smooth texture. Slight rainbow effect.
SGP: Zippy sound. Clearer texts.
Out of the 2, I would pick the ultra optics. No noticeable downside to the PS.

I found a poster here at MR that would trade an ultra optics for a PS antiglare. I'll let you know how it is!

Pls let us know if you had any success with it.

Took an entire month and a few days to get my items but they are pretty nice! I got a Candyshell and the Switcheasy Trim in black for $5 each, and the SGP Oleophobic screen protector. SGP gives you 2 front protectors, but this one came with 1 front and 1 back. So... perhaps it's not legit, but it's still a great screen protector. The cases seem to be the real deal, though.

Ordered the SGP Oleophobic Screeny from iThough.com. I just got it today from when I ordered it 2 weeks ago (I'm from Canada btw).

I'm overall pretty bummed about the product. Nobody seemed to have acknowledged the fact the front protector is not the right fit  from the corners not fitting to the contours of the phone, to the whole length of the protector, it's too long.

Package is near perfect when I got it. Even has a certificate of authenticity inside. Sadly, it is not.

Thats because everyone knows that these protectors are meant to be used in conjucntion with a bumper or case. They do not cover edge to edge in either direction.

Without the gap, you case would cause the protector to bubble at the edges.
