anybody have the carbon fiber sgp?? pics?? and could someone say if its slippery like the iPhone naked? or does it add some grip? also the pics on the website show the carbon fiber with no sgp logo on the bottom. if this is true then that would be great. thank you

SGP doesn't have an ultra thin Carbon Fiber Case. Where did you see that? It's not on their site.:apple:

just ordered the carbon fiber SGP ultra thin!! i hope i like it! ill post a review when i get it....possible pics but im not sure if i can get a camera yet :D

Just got the ultrathin UV crystal and I'm pretty dissapointed, it shows a huge watermark when on a naked iPhone (no skin)

Again, where did you find the supposed carbon fiber SGP Ultra Thin Case. Please tell me. I think you guys need some eyeglasses. Or read a little bit about carbon fiber.:D:apple:

I haven't recieved the case yet but I don't think it's "real carbon fiber" i'm assuming it is leather with a "carbon fiber" look. I think you already knew that though

so i received the SGP Ultra Thin Carbon in the mail today.......it looks great...however i don't think i will be able to keep it. It is WAY too slippery. I thought I could deal with the chrome being exposed because of the extra grip that the case would provide. Unfortunately, the case feels more slippery than the naked iPhone 3G! I though my search might have been over but it looks like its on to the Seidio...

Just got this case myself and think its great...the "carbon fiber" look is pretty cool, and adds a nice grip in addition to scratch protection. i don't care that the bezel isn't covered because i actually want it to show. All in all, my favorite case so far!

I have had my red SGP UltraThin+ for a couple of weeks now and I really like it. p://www.sgpstore.com/product_info.php/cPath/21_28/products_id/281

I didn't want to spoil the form of the iPhone with a bulky case while still needing some "pocket" protection and non slip surface.
This case fills all those needs perfectly.

It does not distract from the look, in fact in some eyes it adds to the look.
The red and white combo is very pleasing to me and several friends have ordered similar cases after having seen mine.

So, obvious downside is lack of protection to chrome bezel, but I can live with that over adding bulk to an already quite large item.

BTW...I ordered it on-line on Thursday and received the case Saturday on Maui! Not bad at all.

So my take is, great product, well made, fair price and excellent delivery.

Two thumbs up!

How does the SGP ultrathin case actually stay on the phone? As it does not cover the chrome bezel it can't clip round to the front to stay in place.

Just wondering as I'm quite tempted by one to replace my Rebel which just seems a little bulky now.

Thanks

I'm not sure, but it does stay on. After using one for over a month, it's never budged, let alone come off the phone. I think it's just a perfect fit and the material on the inside prevents it from slipping.

Thats fair enough then. Thanks!
