Thought I'd start a thread for people to share their iOS 16 lock screens!

I'm still experimenting but here's mine:

Unless I missed it somewhere I feel like they missed a trick with the lock screen. They could have included dynamic wallpapers like in MacOS which changes based on the time of day and adapted it further by changing the colour and style of font with the background

The built in weather background changes in iOS16, based on time of day and the weather.

How do you get the clock display behind the foreground of the picture? Does it have to be a portrait picture?

I tried to upload it but it's too large, it's a zoomed in version of the iMac Pro wallpaper, available here:

I've installed IOS16 on a spare iphone 8 I have. But for the life of me I can't get any lockscreen options to show up. Is there some trick to doing it?

The built in weather background changes in iOS16, based on time of day and the weather.

Yeah true, however it’s not the same as what is offered in MacOS.

Instead of showing the weather MacOS has wallpapers of for example, landscapes which change based on the time of day in your location.

So the same background would change to show it at sunrise, morning, noon, afternoon, sunset, evening, midnight etc.

I wish there was an option to have the original font for time and date. It’s way better than any of the new ones. Some are frankly horrible.

On the lockscreen press and hold, it will show you Customize option.

Started off with the Astronomy one, Earth with a couple of widgets. But it kept defaulted to USA instead of UK.
Now I have my dog.

Yes, change the Homescreen wallpaper in the Wallpaper section of Settings.

My lock screen is my dog as posted earlier & my home screen is a red to black gradient that hides the notch well and I think looks great.
