So apparently the iPhone 5 is a huge disappointment, and no one is going to buy it.
iPhone 5 is really a huge failure.
I don't understand - I read over and over on this forum that it was disappointing, boring, and a minor update. Seems strange that so many people would pre-order such a disappointment.
The reason why the iPhone 5 is a "huge disappointment" is because it's pretty much the same design we've had for the past two year. They said it was completely redesigned when that's just not true, unless they count making a it a little taller a "complete redesign."
Second the specs it has, including the larger screen, mostly are all playing catch up to what's out there. One review said the extra space is very nice. Yea ok, my phone is .5" larger, big deal. It has LTE, so do most other phones.

It's not strange at all. While, IMO and others, the iPhone 5 really isn't all what Apple it as, it WILL sell like hotcakes. Why? It's a "new iPhone" plain and simple. Most of those people in that video posted last week thought the iPhone 4S was the new iPhone 5 and wanted to get it. They really thought it was improved (comparing iPhone 4S to itself). Brighter screen and lighter for instance. When in fact it was the same thing.
Again I love Apple, but I can't deny that the iPhone is getting stale now. Same design. Specs that have been out for a while now. Apple is simply playing catch up.
