Ordered around 8:00PM MST on the 15th of June from apple.com. 32GB Black. Has one more 50 mile hop up to Santa Fe this AM before it will show "out for delivery" I will be surprised it it makes it but it still shows to be delivered today! Seems like it sat and sat for days. Fedex can move a package fast when it needs to it seems.

:( BUHU

It feels great, 1st thing I did was apply my Zagg to it (took less than 10 min because of the flat surface on both sides) and now I'm in the 20 min restore period.

Edit

I looked for the yellow discoloration and couldn't find it, nor could I replicate the signal drop issue

IPHONE 4 BLACK 16GB-USA
Shipped on: Jun 29, 2010 via FEDERAL EXPRESS

Ship date Jun 29, 2010
Estimated delivery Jul 2, 2010 by 10:30 AM

Currently in LANTAU ISLAND HK "In transit"

At least we know that if it goes into Prepared for Shipment it takes 3 days until it ships and tracking shows on the fourth day. Although for mine it occurred on a Saturday so possibly this means 2 days until it ships and third day tracking.

Nice. Just don't put the phone in any of the 2 piece snap on cases. I had Zagg installed at Best Buy because they replace it and reinstall it up to 3 times for you. Picked up a case, slid it on and half way through the day the invisible shield was bubbling. Keep in mind I waited 2 days after installing the Zagg to even use the phone, such a bummer. I think I'm going to need to use one of those loose rubber only cases because the hard shell 2 piece snapping case was a major fail when combined with invisible shield.

Mine was still Not Yet Shipped as of 8:30 am eastern time this morning...so I cancelled it, walked into an AT&T store and was out in 15 minutes with my new phone.

I guess that was it for the early shipments on the July 2 list. probably cancelled orders from the first day fiasco and now that's it. maybe it just as well to be on the 2nd batch. maybe less likely to have the reported problems?

Today AT&T's website shows me "Ships in 7-10 days" for both 16g and 32g black. Hopefully us July 14th people get ours shipped a bit early based on that.

Looks like the first batch of "Ships by July 2nd" orders has arrived. I ordered on the first day at 8:03PM PDT right after the July 2nd cutoff. My iPhone 4 then left Shenzhen, China on Thursday, June 24th and sat in Anchorage all weekend long before finally being delivered this morning (on the East Coast).

The serial number on my phone says it was made in Week 26-- which suggests it was made last week, just a few days before the phone was shipped.

I got the email below from Apple. I call AT&T and they say it's Apple's problem. I call Apple and they say it's AT&T's problem. Back and forth, back and forth. I did find out they assigned my number to both phones I ordered. One was a June 24th which was supposed to be my wife's line and mine was July 2nd. No one can change a number real quick? Does anyone know how to approach this on the AT&T or Apple side? It's an Apple order so AT&T can't see it in their system.

Dear Apple Store Customer,

When preparing your iPhone for shipment, we encountered an issue completing the AT&T account set up and have placed your order on hold. This could be for a number of reasons:

- You may have already purchased a phone or placed multiple orders for the same phone number.

- Your order may be on hold due to an issue with your AT&T account.

You can confirm your current AT&T eligibility status by entering your existing AT&T account information here. Please contact AT&T at 800-331-0500 or visit www.att.com/wireless to resolve your issue.

Once your issue is resolved, you should expect to receive a Shipment Notification email within 24 hours.

We'll continue to retry shipping your order for up to seven days. After seven days, your order will be canceled.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused.

For the most up-to-date information on your order, please visit Apple Order Status.

Sincerely,
The Apple Store Team

How do you find out when it was made?

My iPhone still says "Ships: By July 2" and "Not yet shipped", but...

My iPad camera kit is in Anchorage! :)

I'm hoping for at least the suggestive "Prepared for shipment" by tomorrow.

Prepared for Shipment
Ships: By July 2nd
Delivers: Jul 6 - Jul 8

I may try an AT&T store today...

If I did my research right, for us in europe tnt and ups are the two who are delivering. However heading for Liege, or Cologne they leave HK around 11:30h am local time. This actually means when I see a status change tomorrow the iPhone will not leave HK before Thursday. So unlikely to get in on Friday, so next week that is. This sucks. Jealousy for those who already got theirs. Mercy for those guys where it is shipping by July 14th

For those of you who are simply just posting "mine still hasn't shipped" aren't not productively adding anything to this already bloated thread.

If your order has changed from "ships by july 2nd" to "prepared for shipment", please include the TIME/DATE you placed your pre-order. That can give us a better sense of where we are in this "queue".

I ordered mine on June 16th at 5:30am (central time) and it still says July 2nd. I don't expect it to be shipping anytime earlier since so many of these new batches are going to Apple and AT&T stores for walk-ins.
