been hating on sprint for a year now, just another reason to hate them. thier data network is terrible and now their servers can't handle an iphone preorder load? when a broke company like sprint is losing literally billions a quarter, you can expect stuff like this to happen. glad im switching to verizon, sprint can suck it.
No Sprint hate please. Unless you have Sprint and are trying to preorder like everyone else who wants unlimited data and affordable service. LOL.
and DAMMIT I just got the page with the iPhone photos to load and there was no buy button and now it reloaded when I clicked, same error

Apple store loaded and I was able to check availability and purchase iPhone with Sprint through it as opposed to Sprint.com in case anyone is still checking this thread.
Not able to add a family plan through Apple.com for whatever reason, guessing family plans need to sign up through Sprint site instead.
but if i order thru apple.com, can i take the phone to sprint when it arrives and have them switch the number to mine from someone else on my family plan?

Sprint says they're down for maintenance. Still. Can't log in, can't click preorder, can't load iPhones in the store menu.
I'm going to bed now.
So bummed. I don't know why I even tried. Maybe I'll just camp out on the 21st. Or maybe go back to a dumb phone, or become Amish.

I gave up trying on Sprint. It was ridiculous. I was able to order through Apple site although I have a question.. this was my first pre-order and it made me choose a rate plan on the Apple site. I chose the one that I already have but will it actually override my current setup on my plan? I have perks, etc. Just wondering.
Also during the process it said 9/21 delivery date but my confirmation says:
Available to ship: 2 weeks
Delivers Within 5 days after shipping by Standard Shipping

wow, maybe the first batch sold out already?! my confirmation says delivery date 9/21 nothing about 2 weeks or delivery within 5 days

Sprint coming back up with their "stash" of iPhones for launch day, 9/21, is our only hope...Doubt it will change your plan, but even if it does it's easy to fix.

yeah I was able to order a second iPhone off of sprint not too long ago and got confirmation email as well
Just ordered.

I tried ordering for new Sprint service via Apple website, got to the end and it said my account was cancelled. I did have an account on Sprint... 4 years ago. Left on as good terms as possible as they continually messed up my bill. Ended up with a credit 6 months after I had left.
Could their account system still be screwed up after 4 years, or is this a failure of the Apple site talking to Sprint's site?
I tried ordering via Sprint.com and it redirects to a coming soon.
