You know mine was terrible at the start, but I’m really starting to see some improvement now. Hopefully it continues!

3hr screen on so far today (albeit very light use), but still at 90% right now.

It’s probably exactly because you’ve been looking at this website.

There is a massive thread somewhere with people having huge battery draining issues on the iPhone and also they get very hot. Something to do with the adverts. They haven’t yet managed to find a fix for it. I would imagine if you don’t look at this website and do other stuff, you might be okay?
Totally agree! This site causes my phone to get pretty warm. Heat and batteries aren't friends either.

I am seeing greatly improved battery life on my 13PM after almost a week of use and break-in. Doing similar every-day stuff as I did on my 12PM, yesterday I only used 30% battery vs as much as 80% on my 12PM.

PS I don't think I ever do MacRumors on my phone, maybe very occasionally when waiting in the car for some reason.

Then you shouldn’t have to worry about battery life at all. However, for me, the Pro version already almost feels like a brick (compared to my iPhone X). I’d like the bigger screen and battery life of the Pro Max but there is no way I want my iPhone to weigh any more than the Pro already does.

I’m so thenkful that the battery life on my Pro has stabilized to an acceptable level.
how much screen on time are u getting now?

I’m also experiencing subpar battery life (under 50% with less than two hours screen time).

Curious of how many also have Apple watches and whether that influences battery life in any way. Same question for eSim.

I have both an Apple Watch (cellular disabled) and eSim only (esim #2 activated).

made a trip to apple. they said phone is fine battery is still calibrating and to give it a week or two to stabilize. seeing better battery life. down to 40% after 5h of screen on time.

What kind of battery life are people seeing on their new iPhone 13 Pro?

I’ve lost 50% of my battery life in barely 2 hours (it also it quite warm to the touch). All I’ve been doing is looking at the MacRumors website. :(
Macrumors website has caused all my phones to overheat and drop battery quickly. I don't know what the deal is.

i don’t think you should be looking at 4h33m of screen on time. it’s prob more like 3hours ish if u count from the time after ur full charge. u got to factor in the screen on time before u charged. still good though!

I was already taking account of that, don’t worry lol.

3 hours of screen time for 15% is crazy!

This is overnight, my old iphone is 6s i switches from it to 13 pro. The 6s battery is new and ot last longer on same usage. The line stays on 6s horizontal while on 13pro it is depleting. Same goes for iphone se1gen and ipad gen5 all other devices not drain battery on sleep mode.
Will wait abit if it calibration issue, going to deplete all and recharge full.

With LTE or just Wi-Fi? Mine is depleting too.

Lte and wifi both. Same as i used 6s now i use 13pro.
i did depletion while ago, just opened measure app it depleted like in 10minutes 20% battery haha! Now recharging into full, and see how it going to operate

charged till 98% then i went workout walk, i used
ALL TIME: Sports Tracker, Spotify (using Bluetooth headphones)
Occasionally: Geocaching (4 spots), Camera few pics (low light test pictures), WhatsApp few messages(less than 10)
Walk time 1hour 55min, 5.23km.
Battery is now 82% so to me it sounds a bit lot drain, i didn't was on screen all time, because there was windy and i had to use gloves :D :D And used only LTE, it went 3G for a bit because i was middle of the forest. (setting was set to 4G)

Guys. I just want to let you know that problem is LTE. Most of the people here posting their time probably use their phone %90 of the time with wifi. Today was my first full home day with 13 Pro. Now at the end of the day, I have 51% left and ~5:30h SoT. So… my phone was not lemon actually I should’ve just used it with wifi. 😂

I also see wildly different results on wifi vs LTE. ~8hr SoT with wifi ~4hr SoT on cellular.

Will continue to test but considering reaching out to Apple as this seems odd.

I'm usually in 4G with a Watch 5 and use around 45% battery for 3h SoT usually

Do these phone batteries still need to be "primed" where you use it to 0% then charge it to 100%?
