I'd say there is a zero chance of a redesign and what do you mean by features? The ports will probably stay the same and any OS features added will also be available to all eligible machines..
The one feature I am hoping for 4K streaming support from iTunes and Netflix. It's not really so important for the laptops, but it's helpful on the iMacs.

My prediction is that 10.14 will introduce this support, but will limit the feature to Kaby Lake Macs or later. So again, not such a big deal for the Mac laptops, but more a big deal on the iMac. OTOH, what goes along with this is the HEVC 10-bit support for non-DRM'd material, and that is also limited to the Kaby Lake Macs or later.

Which is why I suggest getting the 2017 laptops or later if video is important to the purchaser.

For example the new touch bar in ipad pro is kind of a new features.

Yes, they will do exchanges for broken stuff. But with Apple they'll take a return even if it's 100% fully functional. That came in handy for my iMac i7-7700K. I figured the i7 would behave like my previous i7-870 where it after a few minutes of full load the fan would ramp up. However, the i7-7700K ramps up in under 30 seconds, and after a week I got really annoyed with it.

OTOH, the 12" MacBook I got was great out of the box and has stayed great. :)

Up to you to decide what you want and need, not us. And will there be a design change? I dunno, but I am guessing no.

It sounds like you do not need more speed, since after all these posts you still haven't told us what would use that faster speed.
My needs are for web browsing, movies, office documents, and run Win10 for some small uses..

There is no Touch Bar in the iPad Pro of course.

Personally I don't like the Touch Bar in the MacBook Pro.

Get a 2017 12" MacBook.

Or if you need a lot of ports, get a 2017 non-TB MacBook Pro on sale.

If you use Windows 10 in a VM, consider getting 16 GB RAM.

Or you can even consider the now very old MacBook Air, although it doesn't have HEVC hardware decode for movies, and it maxes out at 8 GB.

6 month its ok but i afarid there is new one in the next 1-3 month..
I can bet it won't. The soonest they will announce them is WWDC.
Then it will take a couple of month to be available here in Europe where I live.
And I can bet it won't be much of a difference for the 15" that I bought.
The 13" it's a different story as it will get quad core processors.
So realistically it's 6 month away for me for an incremental upgrade.
I bought it on a 36 month business lease so in 3 years I can buy a new one significantly better.

I don't foresee any new features coming to the 2018's. Spec bump only is my guess.

For Windows it depends on how you plan to run it. You can get by with 8GB RAM if using BootCamp but for VM you'll want 16GB.

Wich problem in keyboard?
keyboard has been hit or miss for a lot of people. keep in mind people with keyboard are more likely to post about, so there is a little selection bias. however for these models there has been many more complaints and there likely is an issue for some people.

for others, such as myself, the keyboard is completely fine.

you could buy a 2015 MBP but youll be buying 3 year old hardware. the ergonomics of the new MBPs might not be perfect, but performance-wise, including thermal management they are upgrades
