Having owned a 2016 MacBook Pro and had nothing but problems with it, I would stay away for now. The sleep/wake issues alone should be enough to deter someone. If they aren't, then you can go with the wonderful problem of external monitors, which I have owned 3 and all of them caused the machine to crash with regularity. Software fix upcoming? Maybe, but I can tell you that none of the issues are addressed in the current dev / public beta of 10.12.4.

I found a way to get out of my 2016 and into a 2015 and I won't look back. My 2015 connected to my monitor via DisplayPort works just fine. The machine sleeps and wakes without crashing. Something that my 2016 simply didn't know how to do. My bluetooth mouse doesn't randomly disconnect, and my battery life is indeed longer. The only thing I miss is the size of the trackpad. YMMV of course.

That's why I said specifically in every measurable way, i.e. Not subjective.
but I am saying it is subjective both machines are great computers and the 2015 is good for some, and the 2016 is good for others but as it stands objectively the 2016 model has deficiencies that preclude it from being an out and out better machine.
