Should there be multi-colored iPhones like the iPods?

Saw the new Nokias with the purple and blue colors and they look really nice.
I think the iPhones will also look great with different colors.

Personally, I would like to see multi-colored iPhones available.

Gonna get pink iPhone!
 
This has been asked before, and I think Black and White are good enough choices.

Why, because with only two color options available, people are very indecisive on what color to get, adding multiple colors would just be chaos to both Apple and this Forum.

I still remember all the polls on the iPad forum for people trying to decide what color to buy their Smart Cover. Headaches.
 
Yes! Offering iPhones in a broad range of colors would be a brilliant move. Although I only care for black, I'm confident that Apple would sell millions more.
 
There are third party companies who will do this for you. I have seen an iPhone 4 in red and blue. I'm too lazy to google it right now but it can be done.
 
Umm, colorware charges $250 in addition to the phone!
That's too much.

Apple should have multicolored iPhones like the iPods.
It'll be awesome!

No.....black and white is totally fine. No need for other colors to satisfy women.

Oh, let me guess. You're offended? Or so, why? How many guys do you think will want a purple, blue and red phone? Solid colors are fine. Black and white and maybe one more color is good enough. No reason to include multi colors or more solid colors. Waste of money and time. You'll end up having a whole bunch of phones left because a mass of people don't like that color. Now what will you do? Give them out to charity?

I'm sure you can buy a skin online for that. I saw it somewhere, but I figured it would look weird at night when I pulled it out lol. Not like I care, but it's just......weird.

Just like the problems they had selling multiple colors of iPods and fruit iMacs? Get over yourself, I for one would jump at the chance to get a (PRODUCT)RED iPhone. Hell, I even colowared my first iPod before anyone had even heard or considered black iPods. I guess it was also crazy for Apple to release a white iPhone. (Additionally, purple, blue and red are all solid colors)

I was obviously stating that introducing a plethora of colors will result in a surplus...in my opinion, there will be a lot of left over phones because some people will start over thinking things. I think 3 colors will be fine. Black, white and whatever color research says is more in demand. I for one will like to see a blue iPhone. But I'm sure there's a million other people who don't.

It would cost too much money for Apple to carry that type of inventory.

Also, what are they to do when they are sitting on millions of unsold PURPLE 64GB iPhone 4S'?

Its easier for them to let the 3rd party vendors make the skins/cases and what not. Also keeps the third party vendors happy by giving them a slice of the Pie while in turn keeping the consumers happy enough to buy Apple's products.

Not that I'm anything like most women out there, but I would never carry a colored phone!! It's black, or I'm not carrying it around.

However, this statement was very sexist, dude!
 
Back before the iPhone 4 was available in white officially, there were all sorts of sites offering color swap kit in all sorts of funky colors. If someone wants a pink or green iPhone that badly, they can do that. :D
 
If they could make the colors look good, then yeah. I've seen some red and blue iPhone 4's and they look terrible.
