Got my chemotherapy infusion this morning, and now we stopped on our way to KS for some fuel since we're spending the 4Th of July there. We get an amazing display of fireworks in a little town called Wamego so our entire family will be there. Mind you, I'm the only Apple Fanboi. Since there's no black sheep in my husbands family (when it comes to loving Apple I mean because they're all FanDroids,) I volunteered as tribute for all my Apple Fanbois out there.

Here's my SS watch with the mandatory wheel shot that I hadn't shared since I got the SS..

It's great Sirenized. It's really nice although my husband thinks I could've gone with the soft pink band instead.
I wanted the Milanese loop but at the end I decided not to.
Anyway. Thanks for the good wishes.
I have Chronic Myeloid Leukemia which is Cancer in the bone marrow which hinders my ability to make any marrow cells in my blood, to give my system the immunity protection it needs. And on top of that, I was diagnosed in 2011 with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus which is another autoimmune disease that has no cure and because of it, I've been on chemo for 3.5 years now and will be on for the rest of my life non stop. Without a break unlike a regular cancer patient. Because a cancer patient's cancer goes on remission but lupus doesn't and although the Leukemia is in remission, I'm still leukopenic because of lupus since it keeps trying to kickstart the leukemia in to my already beat up system, not to mention the severe heart failure I had because of lupus but I'm fine now. So when someone says they're sorry to hear about me being on chemo, I smile and say don't be for its a small price to pay to spend another day by the love of my life and see my children grow up.
Doesn't get better than that actually. Illness has only taught me to love and fight for life more and appreciate the littlest things I ever took for granted. Every single minute is a blessing.

I wished I could make the Butterfly rotate every hour instead of every time check. The butterfly represents Lupus Survivors around the world and I LOVE this one most from the rest. What can I say? I'm a girly girl representing baby!
Anyway. I picked up a couple sports bands today just to mix and match. Ti's what a black and white combo looks like.

Go into the Apple Watch app, scroll down to the Clock settings and change the world clock abbreviation to "". I also set my world clock to only show my time zone. You can do that in the Clock app on your phone and it will sync to the Apple Watch app.

I was curious too, I knew about the Monogram but totally didn't think to add "" his to my City Abbreviations. I just changed New York City from "NYC" to the Apple logo - WAY too cool.

Thanks!

All the best to you @Jmona and I admire your attitude so much.
You rock! :)

First face I'm using. Now that I'm looking at it, it's a bit too busy with the complications.

That puts the "problems" on here into perspective. I wish you well, and suspect you are dealing with your illness an awful lot better than I would.
I sincerely hope you have a long and fruitful life with your children and loved ones.

Sorry if I seem like a dunce. But it says to add the Apple Logo. Where do I get an Apple Logo off of my iPhone keyboard?
You don't. Just go to this message on your iphone, and copy the symbol from this message  and then paste it into your city abbreviation list for the Clock settings on the iPhone watch app.
