haha yeah that was from me trying to use force touch to customize the face. I haven't gotten the hang of it yet...

Here's mine. 42mm. Rest of specs should be obvious.

Admittedly, I was a little on the fence during several phases of my purchasing decision.

I've never been a big watch user, but for the last few years, I started to find myself getting tired of pulling my phone out to check the time. Maybe it's due to getting older ... I dunno. So, I set out to get a watch last year. I dipped my toe into the shallow end and "splurged" on a $100 watch at Costco. It's quite thin, and seems to be accurate, but it was cheap, in every sense of the word.

So, I went to jewelry store. Lots of choices there! Low end cost is about $250 where I went, and goes up to over $20,000 there. I settled on a budget of ~$500, with an expected purchase timeframe being spring 2015 (this was several months before Apple announced their watch.)

By the time I was ready to spend the money, Apple had of course announced their watch. So, I waited. Then, I waited some more. Waited a little more, until finally, last week, one of the local Apple Stores had some in stock for reservation. I reserved one. Went in to try it on. Messed around with it a little bit, and in the end got it.

I like the look of the stainless steel more, but just could not justify the extra cost (they should bring it down a little by about $50-$75, IMO.)

So far, I like it. It was at about 43% battery after being worn for just over 19 hours. Very light usage though ... Checking email and messages, the time, and viewing calendar entries.

It weighs less than the $100 watch I bought from Costco, which is nice, and the ability to easily change bands is a huge plus IMO. Although it will drive the total cost up significantly, depending on the band, it's still nice to have the option to easily dress it up or down if needed, based on the occasion.

Oh, and one last thing: My most favourite watch I ever had was when I was a kid (around 6 or 7, I think.) I was given a Mickey Mouse wind-up watch as a gift. I loved that watch. Admittedly, seeing that clock face in the Apple Watch brought back some memories ... Those sneaky bastards.

It was supposed to be shocking -.- Damn, everyone posting pictures of guns, no one bats an eye. Post a picture of a toy, everyone loses their minds.. You people are really strange and prudish out there. You must be fun at parties.

I thought it was funny actually, but not needed. I don't think the guns are needed either; but hey, I am from Boston, I'll just embrace my prudish, puritanical ways ;)

Ps: pink is definitely your color

Muhahaha, actually it is my girl's, but I thought I'd just avoid stating that, grab my popcorn and lean back. No harm intended =). This thread just became somewhat boring, though =(

How did you get the Apple next to the time in the upper right corner?
Go into the Apple Watch app, scroll down to the Clock settings and change the world clock abbreviation to "". I also set my world clock to only show my time zone. You can do that in the Clock app on your phone and it will sync to the Apple Watch app.

This is my third and final watch. I went from the 42 Sport to the 38 Milanese and today to the 42 stainless band. I've finally found the watch that's right for me even if it took three tries!

Totally agree with you. The price is north of reasonable. It would be a little easier if you knew you'd get lifetime mileage out of it, rather than 2-3-4-5 or whatever number of years Jony Ive has in store for this version of the watch.

I think the lugs are going to be like the dock connector - they're going to be around for a while.

Since steering wheel pics are all the rage, here's mine - 42mm w/ BSB:
