Here's mine. 42mm. Rest of specs should be obvious.
Admittedly, I was a little on the fence during several phases of my purchasing decision.
I've never been a big watch user, but for the last few years, I started to find myself getting tired of pulling my phone out to check the time. Maybe it's due to getting older ... I dunno. So, I set out to get a watch last year. I dipped my toe into the shallow end and "splurged" on a $100 watch at Costco. It's quite thin, and seems to be accurate, but it was cheap, in every sense of the word.
So, I went to jewelry store. Lots of choices there! Low end cost is about $250 where I went, and goes up to over $20,000 there. I settled on a budget of ~$500, with an expected purchase timeframe being spring 2015 (this was several months before Apple announced their watch.)
By the time I was ready to spend the money, Apple had of course announced their watch. So, I waited. Then, I waited some more. Waited a little more, until finally, last week, one of the local Apple Stores had some in stock for reservation. I reserved one. Went in to try it on. Messed around with it a little bit, and in the end got it.
I like the look of the stainless steel more, but just could not justify the extra cost (they should bring it down a little by about $50-$75, IMO.)
So far, I like it. It was at about 43% battery after being worn for just over 19 hours. Very light usage though ... Checking email and messages, the time, and viewing calendar entries.
It weighs less than the $100 watch I bought from Costco, which is nice, and the ability to easily change bands is a huge plus IMO. Although it will drive the total cost up significantly, depending on the band, it's still nice to have the option to easily dress it up or down if needed, based on the occasion.
Oh, and one last thing: My most favourite watch I ever had was when I was a kid (around 6 or 7, I think.) I was given a Mickey Mouse wind-up watch as a gift. I loved that watch. Admittedly, seeing that clock face in the Apple Watch brought back some memories ... Those sneaky bastards.
