A Norwegian guy living in France, me, who went home for holidays to Norway a week before the watch arrived on my doorstep in France, has finally received his precious watch (After waiting 2 months) ! Now everyone stares at my watch in Norway like it's science fiction, note that it has not yet been released here!

Please tell me if this minimalist set-up is nice :D (I think it is)
I like it... similar to mine as well with the same face.

Yesterday I decided to switch my Watch face for the heck of it and went with the Simple Face, similar to yours but I went all white hands including second hand, and more minimalist -- with just the temp showing in the bottom right corner.

I'm comfortable now with battery usage so don't feel the need to track it (and I have it in Glances anyway so just a swipe). I can quickly go to my Calendar in Glances too if I need the date. So for me the only thing I thought I might want displayed was the temp so I knew how to walk out of the house. Here's my face:

Interesting, looking at my uploaded watch face it appears the second hand and temp are gray, not white. I'm liking it either way. And actually now I'm looking at my watch it is definitely black, white and gray. I have the white sport band that coordinates with it and picked up a 3rd party adapter and all black 2 strap zulu nylon band, which looks super cool now with with this face.

Congratulations! You are one patient person! I would have been so antsy if I had to wait that long and probably asked family or a friend to mail it to me. I love mine, now over a month, and hope you enjoy yours as much.

I agree; I got rid of the battery complication. My watch has never run out of juice; I always have at least 60% at the end of the day. It was just causing me angst.

I have to say I do love my watch but the first day I was a bit unsure about what to do with it :) it grows a lot on me though, and when I started using it with sport i felt relieved that the purchase was a good one. Also I love the notion that it's still a work in progress for Apple, in a way, I think there will be exciting updates that will break the current apple watch negativity. I love your watch face!

Here's a new unexpected view of my Apple Watch. My nurses are in love with it. I had chemo today (excuse the red veins, they were on fire as soon as the liquid gold entered my system) and at one point I had to take my watch off because one the redness from the burning veins was spreading upwards and two, because my nurse went to show the watch to everyone because it was the first one they'd ever seen.
