Here's a new unexpected view of my Apple Watch. My nurses are in love with it. I had chemo today (excuse the red veins, they were on fire as soon as the liquid gold entered my system) and at one point I had to take my watch off because one the redness from the burning veins was spreading upwards and two, because my nurse went to show the watch to everyone because it was the first one they'd ever seen.

This is amazing. Hoping for the best outcome for you. Best of luck!

My wife is from and in the US now.
I wanted an  watch....she thought it was a waste of money...because I already had a Pebble.
I got myself a 42mm Sport Space Gray and had it shipped to her (PA).

She used it a couple of times while running......mmmm not bad......
Next day she went to the nearest  Store (Allentown) and got herself a 38mm Sport alu.

I got her a Milanese/Chinese loop (kind of...with clasp)

I still have no  Watch....and she has 2 now.....not fair.

(they look huge on her tiny wrists...)

I got my Apple Watch today to celebrate exam results.

I tried on both the 38 and 42 and was totally unsure, but both a friend and the Apple Store employee said the 38mm looked better on my skinny wrists so I went with their advice and while I was a bit nervous to open it as I wasn't convinced on the size, I think it looks pretty good. You can tell it's not the 42mm but using it I haven't run in to any problems with mis-touching things.

What do you all think?

Congrats on exams! Nice present to celebrate with. I think the 38mm looks like a good size on your wrists. I think you ideally want to see some band on both sides when looking down on your wrist...after all the band is what we are all now obsessed with after spending time with the watch and seeing how it pairs with bands. Fashion watches are typically larger so it depends on how you dress too. The 38mm was amazingly easy to read. Everything very crisp. I could have gone either way with my wrist size probably but my close up vision isn't that great anymore and I felt it would be easier to read on my wrist like while driving etc. so went with the larger otherwise it would have been a toss up for me. I thought Apple did a pretty good job with the two face sizes.

Love seeing another midnight blue Modern Buckle. My girlfriend chose it last second as she initially wanted the soft pink one but the blue is very classy.

The navy blue one on the bottom right, where did you get that?

Bottom right? Maybe Bottom left Navy blue with blue stitching is a Hadley Roma 24mm Lorica band?. Or Top Right is a Dassari Concord Blue Crocodile Leather with white stitching 24mm. Hope that helps? :)

<Edit> Oh that Navy blue at the very bottom? That's from a UK Seller on ebay, its rubber coated on leather strap 24mm. Was actually rather cheap under $20 shipped i think.

I am loving seeing all our men here so fashion conscious. Some really great band choices out there. I really want my hubby to get a watch too and help him accessorize with bands but he always carries his phone with him and just says he doesn't think he needs one. Hey at least I can say he didn't mind buying me one. He does seem to be paying more attention to posts guys are making on why they like their watches though so have hope to some day share a heart beat with him!

Hey, I'm in the same position with my girlfriend! Maybe you and I should hook up? I have to warn you I'm in the UK and only finish work on a Friday at 5 so can't get to the airport until 7 at the earliest, so if you're on the East coast it'll be err, say around midnight your time until I get there and then I'll have to leave Sunday to get back here for work Monday morning and it's gonna cost a lot of £'s ($'s) But hey! It could work!
