Taken a little while back before my engagement. Love this little gadget! I have quite a few 3rd party bands now.

I've primarily seen men buying the watch and posting here, based on photos of hairy arms, but was wondering if there's any kind of estimate what the split is? As a woman who carries her phone in her purse most of the time, I love the convenience of having the Watch on my wrist and would think women would make up a decent segment of wearers. I also would have guessed that women would make the largest group buying extra bands but based on photos in the accessory area, I'm not so sure.

Was joining in all the fun on Instagram and elsewhere posting pix of my Watch and I all over the country (the small island of Singapore). Then after a shower where I took the Watch off, I put it back on to find that there was a #deadspot on the #retinadisplay . Sent it in immediately for servicing and apple says this was caused by "hard pressure on the watch display" when nothing like that ever happened. Am sore about this. The third-party service centre says I can buy a "replacement Watch" as their best offer. Seems like no one else has this odd problem from normal use. I use the MacBook2015 and MBPwRD2012 as well as the iPhone6Plus and don't every use much "force" with any of my apple devices... I feel take for a ride somehow and want to warn others about this.

I believe you about not using too much force. Any Apple user should know the right amount of pressure to use on Apple devices. Also, the Watch is designed for (stronger) force touch, it should be able to take more pressure than any current Apple device.
If none of your other (older) devices have the same problem with lesser screens, the answer should be a hardware problem with the watch. But, I'm no Apple technician, it just sounds logical to me.
If you can't talk to someone face-to-face at a store, I'd call Apple and speak to a supervisor about it. If that don't work email "Tim Cook" himself. Some members have done it for much less and have had someone higher up address problems
This is the physique equivalent of people taking photos in front of their merc/Porsche/bmw wheel!!!
Please don't tell me this is the beginning of a new trend on this thread!!

And... what would a "Bugatti" body look like?!

I got my new toy last night and oh my goodness I love it a lot more than I thought I would! I have a 42mm sport. I was hesitant as to whether or not I'd like the sport and as soon as I started using it, all my worries were gone.

It's light and barely noticeable. I love the touch and haptic feels and everything works so fluidly!! I have a leather band coming today and I think it'll make it look a little more elegant! I'm excited to get a bunch of accessories for it 😀
