LOL. Hey, are you the same Sean006 that just said a page ago that you were sticking with your Sport?!
you just made me think about how I really use the apple watch. (thank you)
Ive been using it at the gym - wearing to work. ( work for an IT company) and weekends casual wear in Florida heat. So yeah I really do not need the SS esp if it's heavier - working out with it at the gym has been awesome esp with beats wireless. Today I wore my Rolex after reading your response and yeah I don't need the SS for dress when I have this watch. But I do like the look of the SS def not needed though. thanks for your input I really appreciate. I think I'd rather have a couple of more colored bands than spend 250.00 more on just one watch and one band.

OK, gotta ask what changed your mind to go with the SS. I knew you really wanted it :D but the wearer really has to be the one to make the decision on their own otherwise there will be regret. Was it just the Milanese band or did wearing the Rolex and missing the AW functions along with a nice dress watch do it for you?

Hey, happy for you. It looks nice on. I didn't want to influence you either way, just consider all the options. I have a SS too BTW and love it.

I'm another one who bought a SGS and then after a week and a half traded up to a SS with Black Leather Loop. Haven't regretted it one bit. I guess I needed to be sold on the functionality of the watch before I could justify spending extra dough on the better material, but that happened pretty quick. The SS is just far nicer to me than the space grey aluminum. My wife has the silver aluminum which I do like a lot better than the SG, but the SS is even better.

Lol I was hoping u would catch that :)
Milanese was my favorite from the get go I was trying to keep the cost lower. But when I realized I was trying to buy all these bands to dress up the sport. Added it all up and it did not make sense when I spent as much as the SS Milanese. So I reserved one today on the last day of my return and could not be happier. I kept the sport black band for the gym though. Rolex probably won't see sunlight again lol

38mm on my 180mm wrist. I'm not looking for the typical big smart watch "look." I could probably pull off the 42mm just as easily, but I don't want to wait for one to come and then have to worry about selling off my 38mm. I'm able to read everything on the screen just fine so I don't really mind the smaller screen.
I have a 182mm wrist with 38mm SS and it looks fine. I chose the 38mm for 2 reasons: 1. I have 2 or 3 watches that have large (40+ cases) with tons of dings and scratches from hitting doorways or scratching on my desk and 2. Apple chose to limit the availability of the 42mm case. Either way, the 38mm feels safer.

Don't have a car.

Btw, will swap to black band. White one looks a little bit ... more feminime ... a few (quite more) people told me that too. It looks big but it was a little bit loose ...

I actually like the White Sport Band better than the Black. I think it looks sharper if that makes sense. Black looks plain for my tastes. I do have the black leather loop, but I use the Sport Band when I know I'm going to be sweating or if it's going to rain or something. I kind of went crazy buying bands, but since I already had a black leather band, I didn't want the BSB too.

Getting a little dirty working on the wife's car. No worries, the watch didn't actually get dirty. And no, I haven't received my red loop yet, it's a cheap red silicone band on "gunmetal" Stouch adapters

Was joining in all the fun on Instagram and elsewhere posting pix of my Watch and I all over the country (the small island of Singapore). Then after a shower where I took the Watch off, I put it back on to find that there was a #deadspot on the #retinadisplay . Sent it in immediately for servicing and apple says this was caused by "hard pressure on the watch display" when nothing like that ever happened. Am sore about this. The third-party service centre says I can buy a "replacement Watch" as their best offer. Seems like no one else has this odd problem from normal use. I use the MacBook2015 and MBPwRD2012 as well as the iPhone6Plus and don't every use much "force" with any of my apple devices... I feel take for a ride somehow and want to warn others about this.

I would not let it go with Apple in the least given what you've been told by someone. I would continue to escalate it and I feel bad for you that you need to. It looks to me, no expert here, that maybe some water got under the screen at that point. OLED screens and water do not mix. To have been looking fine and then see this after a shower sounds kind of suspicious like maybe cause and effect. It's rated for that type of exposure and even Tim says he takes his in the shower. The hard press comment someone made to you sound ludicrous to me. It is force touch capable and certainly that one little area on the top of the screen if depressed by a finger would affect a larger area of the screen than what is shown.

There was someone on here who posted a photo of his watch screen where there had been water intrusion I believe. Don't remember what became of the issue or exactly where it was posted but most likely here under the Watch section. Might try doing a search here for watch and water. I thought he was complaining he was seeing a brown spot. Yours clearly looks black, like nothing is being lit on that part of the screen and you can tell it starts at the screen edge and radiates outward.

Good luck, keep escalating if you have to, and let us know what happens. Stay pleasant but firm. At last resort I wouldn't hesitate to send an email to Tim with brief summary of what steps you took to get this resolved and send along your video link as well. Do you have an Apple store near you or do you have to do this all by email and shipping?

Here's a new unexpected view of my Apple Watch. My nurses are in love with it. I had chemo today (excuse the red veins, they were on fire as soon as the liquid gold entered my system) and at one point I had to take my watch off because one the redness from the burning veins was spreading upwards and two, because my nurse went to show the watch to everyone because it was the first one they'd ever seen.
