I bought both the SG aluminum and SBSS, and I'm keeping the SBSS. It's just a gorgeous watch and you can feel the upgrade in quality the second you look at it, and then put it on your wrist. Don't get me wrong the SG is great looking too, but the SBSS is more versatile to me because it's understated enough to wear it to the gym without looking flashy, but also works well in dressier situations with different bands. Could not be happier with it!

Great points. I've had the silver aluminum and now the SS Series 0 and I'm looking to switch it up for the S3. Not that the SS is ultra flashy, but I hate wearing it when I'm doing yard work, walking the dog, mowing the lawn, etc. Granted I love it for work since it goes with my with my dressier attire. For me, the SBSS would probably work better since it would be pretty versatile, depending on the band I put on it.

I have three bands—two third-party bands and one Apple band. All three look, feel, and operate as if Apple made all of them.
You must have got lucky, out of the 4 3rd part I've bought in the past all of them fit poorly, all made by "Moko"
The brands I have had good luck with are:

thanks, have you used this?
I have not. The ones I've used (and am happy with) are the ones listed in my previous message above.

Nothing special here, AW3 Space Grey with Grey Sport band.

I only have the one I posted about earlier but the lugs were one of the first things I checked after putting the band on and it fits as well as my OEM classic buckle. This one was made by Gosuper.

Space Grey Series 1 I got last week for a steal from CEX trading in my Series 0. So much battery now, hoping that watchOS4 won’t change that. Today with the band I bought originally for my old and beloved Pebble Time Steel.

I do like the black color but Silver seems to match more bands for me, it goes well with black or white bands, etc

I was deciding between space black stainless or regular stainless and the choice of matching bands is what made my decision for me.

I think the bigger issue with that sticker is the fact it clearly isn't big enough.

Supposedly that was done to make it easier to apply - if you make them the exact same size it's easy to get them placed so that they sit where your finger goes, thus they come off more easily. Day to day it's not really apparent that there is still a bit of red showing unless you're really looking for it, but once you know it's hard to not see it.

I went with silver stainless because it's easiest to get bands for it and as you can see from the original picture set, I have bands already that are for the silver stainless. You can get lugs for the black stainless, but they're sadly all third party. It's pretty much impossible to find bands with official Apple lugs and even then as far as I know they're all silver stainless when you do find them.

What’s the most durable AW against scratch ? The alluminium or the stainless ?
I have a S0 now and i’m Thinking to update

The Space Black stainless is the most durable imo with the added diamond coating and sapphire.

That's good to hear. As a tip to those buying third-party bands, look up the brand online (e.g. Amazon) and check the band's (and the brand's) ratings and reviews.
