Anyone have the SS Gold with the forest green leather loop combo? Just got my 44mm SS Gold and love the color combo. Would love to see pics

Hi TomTattoo! Thanks for checking out the video. Sorry the music wasn't very good. Honestly, I spent about an hour trying to find the perfect music. I could use your help: what type of music would you recommend for such a video? Thanks!
ok. I haven´t realized that it is YOUR clip.
Youtube is so full of really interesting videos destroyed by background music..I personally hate it.
So make one without music and instead some nice comments..that I would really like.

Thanks for the kind feedback, Tom! I'm always 50/50 about using music. I make about 95% of my videos without music; and about 5% with music. It's tricky with music because everyone has different music tastes. Thanks again for checking out the video and providing feedback. Have a great day, my friend!

As promised, here is the blue horizon sport band on my 44mm SS S4. I forgot to take shots of the storm gray sport loop yesterday so I'll have to post those another time. This is my favorite sport band that Apple has released so far. It looks a little darker today because it's really gloomy outside and I never use lamps in my office. It's a rather medium blue with striking saturation and a hint of warmth which brings it slightly towards blue-green but is still firmly blue. Kind of like a deep ocean blue of sorts.

That is so sexy!!!

How do you like the band? What size did you get? I typically use the L/M sport band that is included.
I got the 44mm Medium. I like the band a lot and have had several compliments on it. The gold SS pairs very nicely with it. Yesterday I got the Apple Space Black Stainless Steel Bracelet and like it a lot too. I'm not keeping both so have to decide between the two. Regardless I think you'll really like the forest green band.

I really thinking about if to buy this band or not, because i've already the midnight blue and the ocean blue one that was released with the collection bands of the series 2 that came out then

My sporty look. 40mm GSS with the Nike Anthracite band. I love the Nike bands and bought this one when I bought the Watch. This is a really nice combo.

I bought the Storm Grey sport loop as well. There’s a dark teal color woven in that looks nice. May be a little hard to see in this pic, but it’s nice for Fall.

I liked the stop motion unboxing, nicely done :)

Going to try and snag a Nike S4 I think. Seeing all these pictures is making the upgrade hard to resist.

Thanks for the kind words! Happiness is typically priceless.... A Nike+ Series 4 will bring you lots of happiness for a reasonable cost; I say, it's a no-brainier to go out and snag one! (provided that you have the disposable income for it!) :)

Here is the 44mm gold SS with a gold link band I picked up on eBay. The color advertised in the ad said rose gold, but it looked amazingly like the coppery gold on the Apple Watch 4 SS. I took a chance and ordered it and, sure enough, it is a good match. Here is a link, the the vendor seems to have run out of this model currently. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Butterfly-Lock-Link-Bracelet-Band-For-Apple-Watch-38-42mm-Stainless-Steel-Strap/292733988858?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&var=591524307817&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649. It was $27.99 shipping from Pennsylvania, so not a bad deal.

I need the 38mm size :(

It seems like the sport loop is much wider for the 44 compared to how the band for the 40 fits. The 44 goes almost out to the edge where the 40 is probably 1/4” in on both sides. I like the wider band much better.

I believe this is what you want. It’s coming from China so you have to be patient, but the price is right and it is 38mm. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Butterfly-...597649&hash=item3d53340b89:g:fhkAAOSwIFtaM6Iu. The butterfly link is a bit different but it works.

Thank you, kind enabler! :D

Interesting. I’ll have to look at some pictures on the difference. Never paid attention before, but it’s fine for me as is.

It very much picks up the environment it’s in. I think here it’s picking up the gray table. It inherently has some shadow to it between the links which also has a sort of halftone shading effect. But it might also need some kind of chemical bath since it’s three and a half years old, lol. I’m open to suggestions from the group on what to clean it with.

Yeah, I’m also a photographer and I thought about it and think I know what’s going on. I always see photos on here and think “wow everyone has tiny wrists” and now that I see my own looking kinda that way, I think it’s because of the lens and focal distance to the watch being closer. Because of diverging sight lines, the closer you are to something the more it obscures what is behind it. Put your eye a couple inches above your watch and note how huge it looks compared to your wrist which disappears behind the edges. Now pull away and see it go back to normal. The camera is a different focal length than the human eye so it changes things even more. It’s the same reason why you have some photos of earth where North America is taking up the whole view and others where you can see several continents. Some people cry flat earth conspiracy but really it’s just a matter of how close the craft is taking the photo combined with the focal length of each camera. If you’re closer you use a wide angle and the earth’s horizon is closer which obscured itself and further away you use telephoto. It’s also why photographers prefer 70-85mm for portraits: lower focal lengths mean you have to get closer which rounds faces and enlarges the nose which is less flattering to clients.
I really don't know anything about photography, but I thought that 200mm was considered a good lens size for portraits?

Also picked up a black stainless steel band on eBay with the release buttons like the Apple band. It was $48.88 - https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-1-Stainless-Steel-Bracelet-Strap-Band-Link-For-Apple-Watch-Series-4-3-2-1/132644324647?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&var=432091554932&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649. Seems to work well with the 44mm SS gold Apple Watch 4.
Looks nice - both the rose gold and the black. I'd like to know how they wear and how well the color/finish endures.

How is that color called Forest Green - it looks very blue, more like a Teal?

I happen to love the music. There are handy volume and mute functions for those who are opposed. :)
