Exchanged my aluminum gold S4 for the Nike+ this morning.

Saw the loop in person this morning. It’s really nice. I wish I would have seen this comment earlier. I would have gotten a picture for you. The advertisement pictures are very close to the actual look.
[doublepost=1538760554][/doublepost]Reflective Nike band reflecting.
I'm indecisive as to which to get for my dad.
He currently has a space gray S0 with the nike black sports loop.
Thinking of going the aluminum route for him this time but the white summit loop will get dirty like no tomorrow right? His occupation will get his watch quite dirty. Just thinking the sports band will be easier to clean?

Would be cool to see those new reflective Nike sport loops being reflective.
Here's a quick test, if it helps. On the left is a regular photo, on the right is with the camera flash on...

Yes, I assume the white sport loop will get dirty quickly if his environment is as you describe.

I really don't know anything about photography, but I thought that 200mm was considered a good lens size for portraits?
It’s mainly the wide end that you have to worry about. At telephoto features near the edges of the face or head are distorted, while at wide features towards the center are. This article has a good example, and if you google “same portrait taken at different focal lengths” you’ll find some good examples. https://petapixel.com/2012/08/12/how-focal-length-affects-your-subjects-weight-in-portraits/. Wide emphasizes nose and tele emphasizes hair. Most portrait photographers will use 70, 85, 100, and 135mm lenses, but of course there are always edge cases. The main lenses I used to shoot a wedding a few months ago were 85mm and 70-200 with some group shots at 50mm and 28mm. Wider lenses work fine for group shots because you’re not as tight on one persons face so the focal distance is longer.

Really happy with my OG Link Bracelet on the S4 SS!
Thats my Favourite combo I also wear with me Series 0. At the moment I am thinking about getting the SS Silver for my silver link bracelet. But the 300€ extra compared to aluminium space black are much.

Anybody have photos of a aluminum space black with silver link bracelet?

I don’t know if this has been mentioned before but there is something just more visually appealing, in my opinion, about the slight change in shape of the watch. I can’t describe it well it words, the slightly taller appearance and I feel like you can see just a bit more of the stainless steel when looking at it straight on. It’s just really nice looking, better than the old shape.

I picked up the S4 Cellular 40mm Gold Aluminum on launch day. It is factastic. The new gold doesn’t clash as much as you’d think!

Returned both my aluminum SG and SS gold AW4 today and picked up the new nike one today. This will be the one I’m keeping. Love the Nike watch faces and the sports loop.

Also bought the Milanese loop and leather bands from amazon.

Anyone have the SS Gold with the forest green leather loop combo? Just got my 44mm SS Gold and love the color combo. Would love to see pics
I picked up the Forest Green Leather Loop a few days ago- wasn’t sure if I would keep it. After putting it on my Gold SS it was a no brainer- looks great IMO.

It’s a good shade of green for the leather loop heading into fall/winter. Maybe they’ll make a sage leather loop one day? Gold and green mix well. Works with silver too, but it’s really meant for the gold.
