The IMEI of my Series 6 watch is not in Verizon’s data base (as if not released by Apple) and hence the device cannot be activated.

Exchange won’t work. Verizon needs to manually enter the IMEI number of your watch into their system. Take a picture of the box showing the pertinent information and open a support ticket with Verizon.

Thanks. I opened a ticket with Verizon for exactly that and I am also in touch with Apple. With every watch upgrade I had problems with Verizon.

Apple won’t be able to help. Verizon doesn’t like having to manually enter the information so they tell people the watch is in compatible, which we know is a lie, because Verizon sells the exact same watch. Lol watches are all unlocked.
