I have often wondered. Are those Ceramic ones 'worth' it?
Yes. A truly un-scratchable watch feels so good. Even SBSS gets microabrasions. And it’s the best pair with sport bands and leather of a certain brightness and saturation.

I would be lying if I said I’m not worried about how outdated it’s going to look when the new industrial design ships, but I happily use an s3 aluminum now, so I figure it will be years and years until the ceramic s5’s functionality will get frustrating.

Pair the “un-scratchable” Ceramic with the king of scratching, the Milanese Loop and I guarantee it will scratch the Ceramic.

It's an absolutely unique Apple Watch experience, especially when paired with the white sport band. During dusk and evening runs the white pops out and blends together as a seamless unit. This is my first ceramic watch and I'm hooked, fingers crossed it releases again with the redesign down the road.

Luckily it's been tested by a YouTuber who enjoys the Ceramic + Milanese pairing:

I couldn’t wear a white watch and that along with its price tag make me recoil a bit. I like looking at the pictures of them on other people but would never buy one. I don’t think I’d ever want to pay more than 400 quid for a smart watch in general though. I’ll leave that to others and enjoy their pics :)

After wearing colors for a while I always find it refreshing going back to black!

I lucked out and picked up two Nike bands I’ve been hunting recently. After seeing athousandbands post the Flat Silver/White band, I knew I had to have it.

The other one was Spruce Fog/Vintage Lichen, and after keeping my eyes open, I was able to find one.

I’ve found that I tend to like the lighter colored Nike bands on the SB Nike Series 6.

Absolutely....just as you can't quite understand the difference between how the Aluminum and Stainless Steel models look and feel until you experience both, you can't quite understand how cool and unique the Ceramic is until you feel it. There's just "something" special about it that's hard to put a finger on, and so many band colors look amazing against the white ceramic.
