How's that band in terms of water and sweat? Can you wear it at the gym or doing some running? (I mean "can" = it does work well and don't degrade)

It is really bad. Not sure why they went that route but it's not really noticable from a normal viewing distance.

Like wearing two colours these days - those marks only show at a certain angle thank god ! Nowhere near as noticeable in real life use.
