Still one of my favorites..Baltic Blue leather link

I'd like an Apple "Nomad" style leather band. I had one on my series 1 Stainless Steel but they don't do it anymore....

Coincidentally (though I disagree in the strongest terms on silicone solo loop comfort) finally got around to my starlight solo pic today:

Looks almost white in the photo, and the watch itself looks silver rather than Starlight.

I just didn't like how it felt "Sticky" compared to the smooth sport band feel. The act of removing the band made it feel cheap to me as well. Like a cheap rubber band, just not a fan in the end.

Removing without running shower water is for sure a nightmare. I guess I’m lucky that my wrist allows a size 7 silicone to leave the perfect air gap while wearing.

And yeah I was shooting for aluminum accuracy here and actually left the band a little warmer here than real life, believe it or not.

Without a lot of color to work with when I edit neutrals I try to shoot for a more heuristic accuracy; try to take a step back from my phone display and squint.

Starlight band loses warmth in the shade to my eye.

Starlight aluminum really does looks silver a lot of the time…next time I see my friend with the silver aluminum SE, I need to take definitive photos so we can all calibrate our eyes once and for all.

Ok here’s a photo is Starlight with a silver iPad. The iPad I got true to life with a quick edit. The watch I think is still looking much warmer than real life but tell me how cool white it looks to you in this shot.

It’s such a mindf-! Right now irl it looks warmer than the iPad and yet far from champagne in the shade. I love it, but it’s hard to wrap words around it.

I think it’s just so far from a gold that’s too gold to be considered a “neutral” in terms of band compatibility. It’s effectively silver, gang.
