I feel you both. I've been looking at pictures of that face since June, with all the Betas going around, but no one had ever showed a picture of how it looked on AOD, I had assumed it stayed the same with numbers on full display, and I had so many expectations...and seeing it on my wrist for the first time a couple of days ago was tremendously disappointing. I will never trust beta testers again😆
How many beta testers actually file reports of bugs? I'd love to see stats on that.
Obviously I'm grossly generalizing but I think that the majority of beta users do not file bug reports, they just want to see the new features.
Every day is a new journey with finding new peak pairings with bands I don’t have in 44mm (my other steel size)

Pacific Green with laser-etched Air Jordan logo
Is that an OEM Pacific Green that you then laser etched? Or a 3rd party that came that way?
OEM Pacific Green. My work has a laser. The operator did this to his band so I brought my Pacific Green to be lasered. Was the operator's design, etc.
Came out clean. Is that your only Pacific Green though? Let’s see it with the Watch on the wrist when you can
Only Pacific Green I have... did not wear it much. I have to grab it at work and then I will post a pic. Hope lugs are not compromised.
Here are pics with my Series 5 Ti. With the camera up close you can see the laser marks... not noticeable when I wear it but the camera picks up everything. No issues with lugs.
Here's one more... it actually looks better 'live' as opposed to pics as the pattern every subtle in-person. Doesn't appear to be the Air Jordan logo unless one looks carefully as the step and repeat pattern is deceptive. I would like to take the credit but the concept and design was done by our laser operator -- he did an excellent job.

And... two more pics in natural light. The pattern almost looks a croc/alligator/snake pattern at first glance. The line-up on both straps at the lugs is precise.
The unfinished Jumpman that show just his legs that meets the Watch would bother my OCD lol. I feel like it’d be perfect if the last full Jumpman right at the top was the last one.
Interesting take. I like it. Key is consistent on both band parts.

So far I've had 3 Apple watches..all aluminum but I had to get rid of all 3 after few months..only because I don't like the look,It just doesn't look good in aluminium + those cheap tacky stock silicone bands.(I had Nike bands too)
stainless steel is night and day nicer and the only good looking Apple watch,specially paired with link bracelet.

I’ve owned all 3 of those finishes and was a die hard SBSS fan but now I actually prefer Graphite over SBSS. It’s not as stark as dark black. Also I love how Graphite changes its character based on lighting, at times in darker settings it reminds me of SBSS and others in brighter settings it leans more towards a “smoked” SS due to its more reflective finish. Regular SS definitely goes with anything you pair it with and I loved it when I had mine but it’s a little too blingy for me. Graphite is the perfect middle ground as I feel you get the best of both worlds with it and as you’ve seen from my various photos, it pairs awesome with just about any band I throw with it.
