I wouldn’t consider Plum and Elderberry the same category though. Plum is so nice and is the perfect burgundy wine color. Very nice though definitely interested in seeing this color in person as I own Dark Cherry but I’m intrigued by this new darker purple.

Here you have in sunlight! I find it pretty nice, subtle, but with personality.

Anyone know if there’s a big difference between graphite SS series 6 and graphite SS series 8?

I wanted to have a bigger Apple Watch, I had a 41mm. The bigger screen is something I really enjoy, but that was introduced with the Apple Watch 7. I decided to buy the latest generation.

But to be all fair with you: if you want to save money, just buy an Apple Watch 7. The upgrade between the AW7 and AW8 is very minimal. If you want slightly less bezels, get an AW7. If you don’t care, keep the AW6 (unless your battery sucks), if you want to have the newest Watch and don’t care about the money, buy the AW8.

I currently have a SS S4 and am in "do I go silver aluminum or silver SS S8??" mode. I love SS for the durability, but I'd obviously save a chunk of change on the aluminum, especially since I'd just go GPS. S7 (in aluminum or SS) isn't an option because I want to use an Apple GC I have toward the purchase and Apple obviously doesn't sell the S7 anymore and my country doesn't have watches in the refurbished store (they did at one point; that's how I bought my S2!). I know, not a TRUE problem, but... a conundrum anyway!

I couldn't agree more!
This face is pure awesomeness. It definitely replaces Contour as my favorite on the S7.

I finally joined the happy club of watchOS 9 wearers yesterday after a week-long business trip. I never update any devices while traveling, so it had to wait.

Dark Cherry SB with Metropolitan of course. I'll update the rest of my watches tomorrow. Let the fun begin!

I'm in a similar position to you. I currently have the Graphite SS series 6. Have ordered the Graphite SS series 8 but am wondering if I should opt for the aluminium midnight? Might need to have a look in store. I have always gone with the SS but can you really spot the difference unless you really look?

I also have deleted Contour, hopefully I get the taste for it back.

Picked up the midnight AW S8 liking the color and was closest to black that I’m used too though I have noticed the screen isn’t flush with the case is that normal seems to the the bottom of the screen and bottom right corner

Be careful: ion crystal vs saphire is a HUGE difference. I’ve had both Al and SS and believe me, you’ll be pissed off with the Al screen…
