Weirdly think my Ultra wears very similar to my BB58.

Naw, it’s nice, but it looks way bigger on the wrist than your bb58. When it comes to watch proportions, dial size is one of the most important dimensions, so, with smartwatches, it’s about going with the smallest screen size. Plus, the band of the smaller 41mm AW is 22mm, which is already on the large size for mechanical watches.

The 41mm AW is the only one that might actually be mistaken for a regular mechanical watch from a distance. The Ultra is all wrist computer, which is fine, btw. It’s not like these things need to look like mechanical watches. It was just something I was pointing out 🍻

I'm perfectly aware that my Ultra doesn't look anything like a mechanical watch and that the dial of a mechanical is the main thing you would see, but if you include the lugs of my BB58 it doesn't take up that much more space on my wrist.

I have both an Explorer 214270 (39 mm.) and a 3861 Speedy (42 mm.) and I actually agree. Maybe the Explorer feels smaller (and thinner!!) but the Speedy has (even though it's thinner) a similar wrist presence to me

So apparently there were plans to release a black/dark grey ceramic S4/5 Watch … 😲

It may not take up much more space, technically, but it looks relatively huge. I’m not saying that’s bad or anything, but it’s a giant looking watch in comparison to a 39-42mm diver.

Strange thing happened today… went into a shop to check out an AW Ultra and now I own one😅
I have to admit that I like it a lot more than I had thought👌🏻

Nice, now you got the best of both AW worlds. 😊 Have you reached the 5-Watches-limit yet?

In fact the Ultra is No. 5 😅

But I‘m going to sell my S6 SSG and since I really enjoy the Ultra a lot I‘m thinking of maybe also selling the S7 NaTi because I have a feeling that it won’t get a lot of wrist time from now on

Online the current one does not look as vibrant. Yours looks good. I wonder if it changed. Might order one and see. 👍
