After seeing some of the recent pictures here, and hearing many good things about the Steel Link Bands, I got the SB and Silver versions this week. Here are a few shots of the Silver.

There is a mismatch between the band and the Silver SS watch. At times this bugs me a little (like seeing mismatched lugs/watch). Other times it looks just fine. I could polish the band to match the watch, but as some folks mentioned, that could look "too blingy". I agree that it could. The band is new to me so I will give it some time.

So have you warmed up to the Silver Link Bracelet on SS?

I do like the combo. At times I still consider polishing the band to match the shiny watch, but I'm in no hurry since the brushed band looks pretty nice.

Overall I like the Silver and SB Steel Link bands. They are comfortable, look sharp, and I can wear them even in our warm/hot months here. I don't get to wear my nice Hermes leather bands much during the hot months due to the sweat. The Steel link bands look sharp and can be worn year-round.

Very nice! I agree leather bands can be high maintenance especially during hot weather. The Link bands are so comfortable and you don’t have to worry about sweat or water, also since it’s a metal band it’s very neutral and can go with any outfit. Glad you’re enjoying them!

I have multiple bands, but the trail loop and sport loop are by for the comfiest. However, my trail loop is already fraying and I've only had it since February. The sport loop feels much more robust in that respect. I enjoy the little lines of orange, which, I feel complement the AWU's orange accents.

Edit: my barber has a gold stainless steel with the unity braided solo loop. That combo looked so good and made me regret the AWU a little bit. However, in the UK the price difference between those two set ups is marginal. If my wedding band was gold I would be all over it!

What is the rain complication you use?

The sport loop goes the other way around.
