Just bumping this thread! Been a while

Given that Thunderbolt Display is dead - maybe it's time we kill this thread as well.

And hopefully can open a new "Apple 5K Display" one soon!

I doubt integrated GPU in the notebook range can run a 5k display, I assume apple has just killed the apple display.

One option would be to have an egpu inside the apple display, but damn that would be silly expansive . I'll just get a second TB display in the future 🙂

Not yet 🙁 Looking like a fall (autumn)/winter project now it seems.
