It sounds like you're 14, since you lack the ability to see how other people might find something useful, despite the fact that you don't.I just wonder, is a vast majority in this thread 14? Because that's the age at which it was fun to send MMS. After that there is no real function with MMS.

I am sick of ATT picture messaging. I have had my iphone for about a 1 and half and I am tired of never being able to see picture messages sent from friends on other carriers. I go to the website enter there ridiculous code and password and then.............. NOTHING!!!! I have been able to view 1 out of 20 pic messages I have recieved. I am new to ATT and I was wondering is this how pic messaging is for all of there phones? For me the iphone is strictly for entertainment, I have a blackberry for work and I love the entertainment aspects of iphone. However, the simple phone features like pic mess/sms-txts are really lacking... Just my two cents....
How can it be useful to get a badly taken picture where you cannot see half of what's on it?
It's impossible for a normal person to find that useful, it never been useful. Just that when you were 14 it was "cool".
At the end of the day it is a nice feature to have. If one of my friends takes a quick snap on their phone but is not that important then why should they have to try and send it to their computer and then send me an email. If you don't use the feature, then fine, but a lot of people do. Most of my friends are mid to late 20s and definitely not 14. The 14 year olds open those stupid editors first and put hearts around the picture or something first like they have on SE phones and then they send it.
It is funny. At MacWorld 07 people literally cheered when Steve Jobs pointed out the 2MP camera. Then afters people were asking why it couldn't have more? I love Apple products as much as the next guy, but some people are just way too obsessed about everything Apple. The iPhone is great, but far from perfect.

Yeah it's far from perfect, but theres a million features more important and useful than MMS. But you don't see bitch threads about them, and that's what's annoying.
Viewmymessage isn't that hard people, you just copy and past the id/password into...oh, wait...
obviously because more ppl probably have mms capabilities than an expensive data plan to utilize email with?
I'm 30 years-old. My brother and I were texting a couple of nights ago and he had something on his skin to run by me. It would have been nice if he could have just sent me the picture while texting, instead of him having to close SMS, open e-mail, send it to me, then have me quit the texting program and then open my e-mail to view it, then to have me open my SMS again to responde to him.
Saying MMS is childish is being childish.
Well, that's just your opinion. Remember, all iPhone users are different and have different needs and desires. Additionally, don't forget that its just a phone. I wouldn't need my phone to do those other "million features," I have my desktop for that.

Thank you for proving my point once again. You're doing an excellent job. It's impossible for a normal person to find that useful, it never been useful.
Or instead of all that nonsense you just meet with your sister show each other what you plan to buy rather than waste the 50p or more sending a MMS.
Point being for every person that wants MMS there will be many more that would rather see it die.

Jailbreak you phone and use SwirlyMMS.
You make going from texting on the iPhone to e-mail sound like an arduous task. How long did it take you to hit like 5 touch screen buttons? If you find the iPhone such a chore to use, don't. The idea is it's simple to go from one app to the next and thats the functional genius of the iPhone, if you struggle with this, don't blame the lack of a feature which is already hotly debated. I don't mean to flame you or insult you at all, but I think you're being a little dramatic.
Furthermore, if you have a phone for just a phone and you have a desktop for that stuff, why did you buy an iPhone? Why not just get a free Nokia from AT&T that will allow you to make phone calls? Why did this conversation not take place on an instant messenger program where it would have been simple to open your e-mail in a browser and view the picture? Don't complain about the lack of a feature on your iPhone and then discuss how hard it was to switch apps, and then end with saying you don't need it to do any of these things, that's somewhat contradictory.
Considering the fact that the site uses Flash to display the image, it wouldn't do you a damn bit of good.ATT should at least give us a link that automatically go directly to the picture/MMS on the website without having to enter that ***** long code.
How hard could that be??
Ummm, it has nothing to do with non-PDA vs. PDA, unless you consider the iPhone to be the only PDA. Because all of the other PDA devices (Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Palm, Symbian, Android) support MMS. All of them.
That is totally beside the point.they also support email which is much better for pics
Not to get off topic to much, but the so called "genius" at the apple store told me that it's not apple that won't let mms but AT&T. Just wonder how true this is.
