My 6+ has a yellow screen, as did my iPhone 5 before it. The iPhone 4 before that had a lovely white screen. With so many faults possible on these phones (loose buttons being the one I encounter most) it isn't worth the gamble of exchanging because the screen isn't perfect. Of course it should be for the premium paid but in reality most iPhone screens have a yellow tint to them so why swap a perfectly functioning phone to get one with another yellow screen, possibly a black splodge too, a clicky home button and loose volume buttons etc? I stuck with my first 6+. The buttons are fine, there are no scratches, the screen doesn't click and there are no hardware faults. The yellow screen, especially noticeable in sunlight, is a pain but 'they're all like that Sir'.

My iPhone 6 was great up until last when the screen started clicking out of nowhere. I went to the store, and they replaced the screen. Great, but now I had weird light leak issues (top right was dark).. went in a 2nd time, and they completely replaced the phone. This time the bottom half of my screen is yellowish, while the top half looks normal. Can I just deal with Apple customer service instead of making trips to the store? It's quite far and I haven't got the time.

Owned every IPhone, never had an issue. You are on your 3rd iPhone 6. Bad luck

When the click presented itself, you went looking for a freebie which is exactly what you got. Stop complaining and suck it up. Don't make a bigger deal out of something that does not exist. (Based on many others)

I agree there are more than a few "Apple bots" on this forum. I'm convinced there are several posters on here who are compensated to shoot down any critical posts and it's highly annoying and OBVIOUS usually. But this isn't one of those cases, I don't think...

I don't think Apple would knowingly compensate anyone for posting on message boards. Let's ignore the question of ethic for a moment, it's just too risky to do that as all it takes is one person to leak the compensation to greatly damage the reputation of a multibillion dollar company. And then there is the potential of being blackmailed: a hired poster could literally name a 6 figure price for not leaking the compensation.

I would like to think you are right, but I've been in some threads where posters shouting down the opposition was so strident, that I couldn't believe a person acting without financial incentive would support some ridiculous Apple decisions and policies. But I guess you should never underestimate fanboi enthusiasm.

It's not whether I am right or wrong, but rather looking at it from a logical point of view, it makes absolutely no sense for a reputable company to pay for favorable comments. You have to be absolutely insane to authorize such a program, and it has to be done with such secrecy that if you are already that successful, why even think about it. The existence of UFO may be more likely.

The ability to find enough people to do it and not talk about it seems to far fetched.
