I don’t care if a site can tell I use Apple. What I care about is security.I'm reminded when Amazon would show higher prices to Safari users. It isn't that anonymous when the websites will know you are an apple user.

This is a pretty awesome feature Apple came up with, but idk why developers would want to implement it when it means that they won’t be getting your personal info anymore. Doesn’t really make any sense... in that sense.
Apps are not required to use Sign in with Apple as an option if signing in with a username and password is available, though developers certainly can if they choose to.
Then if you see an App that won't use it, then YOU know what app NOT to use! EH?This is a pretty awesome feature Apple came up with, but idk why developers would want to implement it when it means that they won’t be getting your personal info anymore. Doesn’t really make any sense... in that sense.

Do you not know how to spout BS???I suspect apple is doing this to track users to determine what new services it should copy

I don’t think you know what “anonymous” means. It has nothing to do with what browser or OS you’re using. It has to do with keeping your identity secret. As in your real name, email address, phone number or similar information.
Yah you nailed it. Must be rightI suspect apple is doing this to track users to determine what new services it should copy
But not compulsory for users to use it, so?Compulsory for those that offer sign-in with Google, Facebook or Twitter. Which would be quite a few.
Are you saying that the developers have to pay google and Facebook to use the sign in service? Thought that was free. More reason not to use it, if trueSo are google and Facebook loosing money because of this (and similar services)? If so how much are we talking?
Will this lead to fewer “free” services, and an even more aggressive ads/tracking/privacy selling industry?
I think I got it. Login with my Wordpress Account and under Security
Now I can Sign with Apple on my current Wordpress Account.
It'd be nice to have a link on how to enable this for a website, esp. one running the typical Apache server (and IIS too, I suppose).
I hope they make the two-factor authentication a bit less stupid. I get it repeatedly in cases where it should have remembered that the browser or device should be trusted. And I get it such that I can see the number and enter it on the same device that I'm trying to log into, which means it's not really two-factor then. And don't even think about a really old device and OS, where two-factor only could be done by entering the concatenation of password and code, which is nearly impossible to do before the code times out. If I ever try running app updates on my old iPad for example, it beats me to death with notifications popping up on every device I have.
