Seeing two different minor changes, a more major one and the early days of iOS 8 is the expected result at this stage. You branch the code and assign placeholder version numbers so people can work on features and fixes without risking the main product. When a change is ready and approved it gets merged into develop. If it's never approved it just dies on a dead end branch. The changes that are part of today's 7.0.1 might end up in 7.0.1, a future version or no version at all.

I just hope that iOS 7.1 or iOS 8 has quick reply. If Apple would just implement this one feature, the iPhone and it's software would be basically perfect, and I know a lot of people would stop jailbreaking because this is the last major tweak apple failed to implement (as seen in forums).

Wow. that was quick...

And ioS7 is not even made public yet.

I often have to think why does Apple even mention "iOS7 7.x" in web logs. Don't they know that its a "hint" ?

I would have just not mentioned anything referring to an update...... They'll fix people...

The again, Apple probably knows this, and they like it... *shrugs*

7.0.1 as we know was just some minor bug fixes.

7.1 will be the next generation iPad version. Will probably bring Keychain too and a host of other small fixes.

Software update that didn't take long
