I wonder how much Apple Watch bands will cost aftermarket in a few months. I would really like the midnight blue classic buckle, but didn't want to pay $200 for it.

I haven't seen any Apple Watches on left-handed people. Do we have the option to flip it upside down and rotate the screen 180° or will the digital crown be on the right side of the watch for all people?

I believe you have two options. Keep the screen in the same orientation and have the crown on the right side or rotate the screen and have the crown on the left side. I think I read Apple recommends rotating the screen and putting the crown on the left side so you can use it with your left hand and not cross over the watch face.

Nice!

----------

Three things...

1) That's my wrist. I posted this to Twitter on Saturday from the Las Vegas store.

2) That wasn't 42mm, it's 38mm.
3) I also tried it with the Link Bracelet and it looked great.

Wow, did you take a picture of the Silver Sport + Link Bracelet? Somehow I never thought about this possibility/combination.

I HATE WATCHES. Yet here I am, oogleing over the Apple Watch. Lol. Either they are design geniuses, I am a huge fanboi, or both.

Thank you for trying! Most people have had success by being easy going with the Apple Rep during the first 7-8 minutes of their appointment, establishing a relationship with them, and earning their trust before asking if they can see what it looks like with a different band attached.

Thanks again for trying! I know it would help a lot of us out and it would fun for you to see it in person too.

I just went in straight from the off and the employee was totally cool with it. Had about three or four watches out at once, switching the bands around willy nilly. Unfortunately, they only had SG 42mm Sport watches, or I'd have taken some pictures with the leather loops. The blue looked fairly nice on the SG Sport, though I think it'd look better on the silver. I didn't like the clashing of SS/SG aluminium with the other bands though, and even the silver aluminium on a 38mm Sport didn't look great with the Milanese loop I tried. Much preferred the leather loops.

Considering buying a blue or black one, but £130 is quite steep!

Aagh!

The watch face on the second picture from the bottom (Sport Watch, pink band)—that's the Timelapse face! Which has apparently been discontinued! (It's a bit of a white whale for me.) Where did you see that?!?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that picture has been floating around since September, so I presume it was taken after the original event.

Seeing how there's a thread for the Space Gray Sport Watch with other bands, I'd love to see photos of the silver Sport watch paired with the bands that are being advertised with the SS model (especially the leather loop bands).

Please feel free to post any photos you've taken during your try-on appointment at the Apple Store.

So I can get the sport watch and buy different bands? Like the brown leather one? Can someone explain please.

Nice! That's really cool. My store was the same as you. The only sport model they had was the SG. I wish they would have had the Silver Sport for us to try on!

Sorry, folks - they wouldn't let me swap bands in the store. They actually didn't have a 42mm Silver Sport model to demo either (only Space Gray, which does look great).

The woman that helped me probably would've let me swap, but the store was dead and a million employees were hovering around. I think she was feeling the pressure to go by the book. No big deal, I certainly didn't want to get her into trouble.

The flourolastemer bands are extremely nice for what they are. I was surprised how soft and supple they are.

I was able to check out a couple of Leather Loops on SS models. They are nice, but I'd have a hard time justifying the $150 given how nice the flourolastemer bands are. I agree with other posters that have said the leather seems cardboard-y. I assume that it would relax and get softer with wear.

Overall, still very happy with my choice of Sport + Black Flourolastemer band.

Are you asking how easy it will be to switch bands? Very easy to do.

Yeah and the only different between the sport and the watch is the stainless steel. Surely for the price differential it will be more of a difference. What the point of the premium otherwise. Now I'm even more excited about the watch.

How much do you think they will be on eBay (the straps not the watch obviously)

I have posted the same thoughts. The "rubber" bands by far are the best value and feel the best to me. I was surprised how fake feeling the leather loop band felt. All of the $150 bands don't feel worth it to me.
