iPod touch single most important thing you'd like to see on touch.

What the heck is with GPS? the iphone basicly has this with the positioning system, and maps? so, why not get a iphone?
 
Pod cast

I would love to be able to get podcasts over Wi-Fi. I like to watch the NBC nightly news podcast and I hate syncing every day just to get it on the touch. I would also like to see a speaker on the touch, I saw this case www.ifrogz.com for the nano and I really want it for the touch. If they added a landscape stand it would be even better.

I got the case from ifrogz.com too, and have since replaced it. I didn't hate it, and have their cases on all of my iPods, but for my touch, I decided to get the Paul Frank (red) case on :apple:.com, and like it better. My complaint with the ifrogz case is that it was a dust/lint magnet, as I got the black one, because they don't have nearly as many color options as they do for other iPods. Other than that, it was great for protection.

I'd love to have installed games that I could play when outside a hotspot. I'd also like it to allow for a customized interface like available with Jailbreak.

I have thought a speaker would be great (and external volume controls like on the iPhone). But, speaker quality for the desired price point could end up not so hot -- and then why bother?! Probably Apple went around on this already when they dumbed down the iPhone design for iPod touch the first time.
 
A camera.

If in the next gen they put a 5MP camera with 3x optical zoom I'll buy it in no time!
 
I would really like the ability to download podcasts over wifi (as mentioned previously). This should be very simple. iTunes should just tell your Touch what you're subscribed to...

Also, although not possible in this version of the Touch, a vibration function would be nice. It would alert you to new emails when you don't have your earphones on and would be really nice for games.

single most important thing you'd like to see on touch.

I would like the ability to record voice via an external microphone. This should be easy to add.
