Plexiglass is one of the worst materials for recyclability.
The only change I could possibly see is an aluminium chassis with glass. This makes more sense when you think that these are materials already being used in iPhones and iPads. Getting away from the black plastic would be good thing though.

A tiny USB-powered HDMI stick vs. a box would be a reasonable option for someone who didn’t want wired Ethernet, had a TV with spare HDMI and a USB power outlet, and maybe just wanted basic streaming services, not sophisticated apps.

Otherwise, the Apple TV is as small as it needs to be - making it smaller will probably start with needing a power brick, and cramming the connectors closer together. The weight of the current unit is an *advantage* as it stays where it’s put and doesn’t get dragged around by the weight of cables.

Actually, my sources informed me that the new Apple TV will be adopting an Ive inspired design and will cost in excess of $1000. Wheels are extra.

as long as the price stay the same or god forbidden drops, those are great news, I would love a beautiful aluminum enclosure with glossy top as a design object rather than a black boring box (Microsoft signature design...😂).

I wonder what apple can improve in the appleTV looking foreword other than gaming capabilities and more storage options, maybe FaceTime, more integration with HomeKit 2 speakers?

Apple pretty much solved the cable companies problem (their terrible UX and UI lockdown) with tvOS and apps, all in one box and now with the great Siri remote 2 its even better.
