The Storage configuration is the most believable part though since that's the same storage configs the Quest and Pico have

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA not even close. The PSVR 2 requires a PS5 to use (can't even use it on a PC for some reason despite there being nothing hardware related preventing it from doing so,) and does not have the specs Apple Reality does.

I was on the ferry a couple of months ago and saw a passenger wearing a VR headset. It was quite jarring to realize that they were completely disconnected from the world around them. This is the beginning of a new age of anti-social behaviour. Instead of faces in phone screens, it will be faces in headset screens, literally!

But on the plus side, this will be huge for some industries like medical. Imagine a doctor being able to "go inside" one's body and see things in true living detail. And it should take fitness to a whole new level of actually being part of the session virtually.

I doubt that there will be a storage option let alone that many colors. They would want to play it safe with the first product in a niche product category 🤔

The only reason they would is to make it seem more approachable and like a consumer-grade product (not necessarily for Pros like they do with all other product categories) but that wouldn’t really apply yet, not with that price tag

Unless the scene of games changes dramatically, $3k is a major flop at the consumer level to play the type of games that exist in VR right now. And unless they have something exclusive or something that's unique/wow factor there's no reason to pay $3k for a device that plays the same things as a VR headset that costs 1/10 the price and are already portable.
