Up to 25 seconds to begin playing a video??? Seriously??? After 5 seconds of no activity I am moving on to the next site / article. And I am not your with ADD, no way people will wait for this. Pass.

no Hulu, then basically worthless for the majority of people that wanted this...

I don't really have a need for this App. But as far as Hulu is concerned - not sure about others - but I got the hulu plus account and have enjoyed playing tons of content on my iPhone and iPad and wouldn't rely on a 3rd party for this anyway

I'm not impressed, doesn't even play video on the BBC site. *****.
I can life without flash video easier that the 1.59 i've just wasted on this plus no iPad support.

A nice example of appstore problems...

After I typed Skyfire in the search bar, it found it but it said "do you mean Skyfart?" :)

**** hulu and their BS. First you have to pay for their own app that has ADS. Now they won't let you watch it on the iphone with this app. this isn't the developers fault its Hulu.

Anyone that has this app. Can you please check to see if you can watch ABC.com shows on the iphone.

I think I've gotten so used to not having flash on my iPhone/iPad that I'd expect everything to turn HTML5 in the future. Plus, I did not miss those flash advertisements and videos that so often crash safari on Mac or Firefox on my PC.

All I'm not used to on the iPad is the multitasking and audio passthrough on the Iphone. Other than that, I'm fine without flash...:p

I've just tried a video on the BBC news site, and it worked. Eventually. Preceded by an advert.

on the app store it says its compatible with the ipad but as its not universal must be the crappy x2 option another reason not to buy!

The hulu app is free. It requires a subscription to access content. That's not the same. And yes there are ads.

And blame hulu all you want - but to placate the networks and other content providers and pay the royalties to retransmit, there are expenses. Just like you PAY for cable. It's not BS... but go ahead on blame them senselessly.
