Did not work on NFL.com which is pretty much the only flash video site left that matters to me so not impressed at all.

It is probably safe to say they will have an ipad version in the future.

There can never be TOO many games for the iPhone. And, since this thing doesn't convert flash games, me no likey.

And how, exactly, would you play 99% of those flash games given that they are made for a touch UI? They'd be impossible to control and completely useless.

Don't need this. Download it anyway for when I need to see flash on my phone and can't wait to get to a desktop. Oh wait, you have to pay for it. $3. For get it.

There is a hulu app

Downloaded and tried it
Looks dated
Is this really the best we have if we want to watch flash ?
No way is it worth £1.79
waste of money
Im asking for refund

I don't really have a need for this App. But as far as Hulu is concerned - not sure about others - but I got the hulu plus account and have enjoyed playing tons of content on my iPhone and iPad and wouldn't rely on a 3rd party for this anyway

yeah sure, but you are paying $10 a month for it... I don't care for the premium stuff I just want to see the same free shows I see on my mac w/out extra monthly payments... unless there is something I don't know the app only works w/ people that have the subscription so I can't even watch the free shows that have commercials...

Why come developers can not make universal apps? Why are they being so greedy?

you don't know that they're going to release an iPad version only vs universal. They might. Who knows. Perhaps they wanted to test the waters/approval process without spending more time and labor on a universal app

It's not even close to how Skyfire works on other cell phones. Websites are rendered with webkit just like Safari. All it does is look for flvs and play them.

It is probably safe to say they will have an ipad version in the future.

Don't get your hopes up. It just came out today and doesn't have retina graphics.

I have tried playing videos from the sites on my.skyfire.com. No luck. I am guessing their servers are overloaded.... Anyone have any luck with playing videos?

Have you ever tried to hire a iOS developer and a graphic designer to do a conversion of an app from iPhone only to Universal? It's very unlikely you can get a top notch job done for free.

That's not even counting the extra server load from iPads that you would have to pay for. Server hosting for this kind of load is also not free.

Lack of native iPad support is dealbreaker for me.

Same here. Not gonna get it unless they make an iPad or universal version. Impressions so far havent been great about the iPhone version either. Dont really miss flash on iPhone and iPad but would've got it just to make sure no one can say my iPad cant run flash crap ;)

Can someone go to atdhe.net and see if any of those links work? Especially the live sports ones?

If you want unblocked Hulu on your iPhone, then serve it up from your own PC. Use RDP or VNC and one of the better remote desktop viewers for the iPhone. Then run Flash on your PC/Mac and view it on your iPhone.

Isn't that pretty much what Skyfire is doing, except on their servers, and with hopefully better compression?

I just tried this out on a few sites, and I was very very unimpressed!
you have to leave the page to watch the video, then it takes 20 seconds to load, then it plays absolutely horibly
