Thanks for the confirmation guys... What Jailbroken apps do you guys have? I'm just trying to see whether any app causing the incompatibility.

And of course you guys don't use Backgrounder, right?

All my jailbroken apps are shown in that folder. No Backgrounder, here.

Well you're both lucky. For a lot of people, not just on these forums and including myself, Skype doesn't background on jailbroken phones. Ashikase released a backgrounder update specifically to fix the issues with Skype. Without backgrounder it doesn't background for me. Even stock apps don't background for some reason

Everything else works for me it seems. I know WunderRadio and Pandora works for me...

Just this darn Skype...

Skype doesnt function right on Jailbroken devices...there should be a warning message when you open Skype saying that...or Google it

So are you saying that Skype, approved by Apple's App store, should warn you when you run it on a Jailbroken (and not supported by the App store) phone?

Yup my Skype said "This version of Skype only supported on unmodified 3.2/3.2x OS" or something along that line

Another vote for Backgrounder here. Just installed it and never even ran it. Skype's working as it should be again.

Even if I installed backgrounder and its not even running on Skype? Heck I didnt even OPEN backgrounder and all the sudden skype works.

Exactly. If we're not even using Backgrounder as such, I can't see why it would be using any more power than normal.
