This show reminds me of a cop version of Supernatural (mixed with Grimm). Monsters and a biblical undertone. All we need is yet another monster-of-the-week type of show.

I never got into either of the shows mentioned and am into Sleepy Hollow, so the monster of the week business doesn't bother me. The monsters are all tied to the core Apocalyptic mythology which makes it work that much better.

And SH was renewed for season 2 yesterday. Glad to hear it.

I feel the same, that it is rushed. I'm still watching, but it certainly feels very rushed. Maybe the writers aren't sure how long the show will last and they want to pack everything in right away. Who knows.

As for the cast, it's a good cast and there are points to it that I like a lot. I don't care if it's another monster/cop whatever show either. At least it's not another reality TV show.
