Apple Still Banning Slide Cases & Manufactures find Apple's Doors Closed!

Just happened upon this news item as I was doing some research on the issue.

Really amazing to me how many people commented how they don't believe this to be an issue, asking for proof etc. Well, it's been a while since the last post and meanwhile Apple still maintains this BS ban!

Seems to me it doesn't matter one bit what your opinions are, if Apple deems it an issue, its an issue. and so folks that's pretty much the end of the story for slide on cases and slide case batteries.

And while everyone here can debate the issue and ponder what is and what is not the truth, the people who are directly affected by something like are the manufacturers of these products that took a lot of time rushing to get the designing done, then getting designs approved by Apple, sourcing them, bringing them to the market and all the while spending a lot capital, which is not exactly falling out of trees these days.

So shame on Apple for approving these products and then turning around and refusing to support them. These folks got the shaft, and if you don't believe me, go to an Apple store and try to buy a mophie battery pak for an iPhone4.

Let me save you the trouble, they do not and will not sell them. so Mophie and other manufacturers of slide cases are all stuck with a major distribution point with their doors closed. That really sucks!

I always use a plastic protecter on front and on the back. I do this immediately when I get a new iDevice as they seem to get easily scratched. Looks as if it were naked. I use ZAGGs but you can use what ever you want.
