Screenshot of your iphone running this full screen? It's a pretty common issue.

And it must be the 3G speeds in your area. NYC is known for being slower than average b/c of the amount of users here but I can still maintain a steady signal over 3G.

I stand corrected. There are some black bars on the left and right of the image and a really small amount of black at the top and bottom. So it doesn't completely fill the screen, but it certainly isn't as small as the screen shots posted. I have a TiVo Series 3 box.

I live in a large urban area on the left coast and the constant "optimizing" is driving me crazy. Is there any way to improve the situation??

I have an Apple Airport Express. Any tricks there to improve throughput.

Again, I have only tested this while riding in a car; which means that my signal is getting handed off from cell site to sell site as the car moves.

Sometimes it will actually play for quite a long time without the buffering, but at other times it buffers every 30 seconds.

First thing that comes to mind would be upgrading your internet service connection (assuming it's not maxed). Remote streaming is only as good as your upload speed. Also be sure your connection's not being used for other resource-intensive things like uploading torrents.

Yeah, the bars on the side are the same issue everyone refers too. Kinda stinks. I'm just hoping it gets fixed in an update!

It makes sense you'd get the optimizing thing in a car. You answered your own question. I've used it while stationary more often than while mobile.... In the car, I've experienced similar.

Good idea. Okay, you call all of the news media except Fox News and tell them to pour sycophantic praise onto this idea. Then, call all of the old Clinton Administration people and tell them we need them because we need advisors with "new ideas". Next, get rich guys like Tony Rezco, Bill Soros, and others like them to provide donations to support it. Be sure to keep the donations under $200 and have bundlers put these together for larger donations so we can avoid disclosing who donated.
Oh, and I almost forgot the most important part. You need to find a fresh face to lead the charge. He or she needs to be young, charismatic, good-looking, articulate and clean (according to Joe Biden) and the person we select should be very very good at reading a tele-prompter and it would be best if they were friends with and were trained by 1960's radical socialists that bombed the pentagon.

If we can do all of this, then we can have a true grass roots... wait a second... Never mind. :p

But if you REALLY want to fix it, just get your "grass roots elected" President Obama to declare that they must change their ways or he will take them over. He must not know about this, or he would have already fixed it by now like everything else... Right? Right?

What a bunch of dupes

Wow dude, did you ever drink the GOP kool-aid...

If anybody is serving Kool-Aid, it is... never mind

Wow dude, did you ever drink the GOP kool-aid...

Wow, Dude, you've sure got some flawed logic. Read my post again. What about my post says anything about the GOP? I don't like them either. I am an equal opportunity skeptic and cynic. It is just that, for right now, The Dems and Obama are in charge and screwing things up mightily. Yet, about 50% of America and about 85% of the media have been drinking Messiah Obama kool-aid. It gets tiresome quickly. I am looking forward to the honeymoon being over, if that ever happens. To paraphrase Groucho Marks: Sincerity (or seeming good intentions); once you can fake that, you've got it made.

Remember that just because A != B, does not necessarily mean that A = C. :p

Yes, but...

1) If your not a republican, why are you spouting all of their talking points?

1. I think you meant to use the contraction "you're" instead of "your", but that is beside the point. I am not "spouting all of their talking points", but even if I did, they do not have exclusive rights to their views. In fact, I think that they, along with President Bush, and congress have made a lot of mistakes in the last 8 years, and even longer actually. This goes for Republicans and Democrats.

2) What the hell has Pres. Obama screwed up? (except for continuing some of Bush's policies)
2. Are you serious? First of all, you said it yourself. He has continued some of President Bush's policies. Unfortunately, the ones he has kept are mostly the worst policies that Bush had. What is he doing differently that convinces you that we are doing better? He is spending even more of my children's and grandchildren's money. Something that Bush was also good at, but the scale of the recent "stimulus" packages and other spending is unprecedented. Secondly, he has turned the country markedly toward Marxism and taken on powers not granted by the Constitution. That should be scary to any freedom-loving American.

3) If you are an equal opportunity Skeptic and cynic, then you have to admit that the Bush admin. royally screwed up the last 8 years and we are much better off with Obama.
.
3. See item 1 above. Also, No; I do not have to admit or accede to your opinion on anything. (At least not yet. Communism does have a sneaky way of eventually squashing all dissenters) I wish you would be more specific as to which policies of Bush and/or Obama are worse/better. In the vacuum of facts that you left behind, I can only guess at your meaning. But to take a stab at your simple statement of us being "better off": I don't see how we are "better off" with Obama. To be fair, he hasn't had much time to "fix" anything, but I don't see much hope for improvement in the policies he has either perpetuated or his "new" policies which are really just the same old leftist agenda that has been pursued by various administrations for decades. Perhaps you could enlighten me with specific policies and the evidence that they have either made things better or will.

4) If you are going to complain about bias in the media, your first stop is Fox.
4. Even if Fox News is your "first stop", the next stop on the train would be for pro-Dem/Pro-Obama CNN, MSNBC, CBS News, NBC News, PBS, Time magazine, etc. If you looked back at it honestly, you would see the biggest case of the media being "in the bag" for a candidate in recent history, and perhaps in all of American history. If you didn't see that during the campaign, then you, my friend, are the one imbibing too much of the Obama Kool-Aid. Not me. Remember where that metaphor came from. "Reverend" Jim Jones got his entire cult to drink poisoned Kool-Aid because they trusted him blindly with no evidence to back up what he said. The same is happening today with Obama. He has no proven track-record. He has never run anything except a campaign. He has never run a business. He makes vague promises about hope and change. And, his policies are administering poison to the "goose that lays the golden eggs", namely, our formerly free-market economy. Wealth-redistributionists are like the greedy owner of the aforementioned goose. He wanted to gut the goose to get at the treasure, and in the process, killed it. Obama is gutting our economy, and the results are likely to be just as disastrous. At least with "Reverend" Jim Jones Kool-Aid only a few hundred died, tragic as that was, and they, for the most part did it willingly. In our case, the approximately 50% of Americans who refuse to drink the Obama Kool-Aid will still receive the same ill-effects as those who choose to drink it.

Best wishes on your awaking to reality one day, Chief.
