It wouldn't cannibalize iBooks (no drive, more expensive) or PowerBooks (slower, small screen) and would be the ultimate in cool!
As for the big one: sure, why not? Make it 3999 and the baddest laptop on the planet. It ain't always about volume! (TAM anyone?)
