silly question does the back skin prevent the magnet from working with the smart cover?
thanks
It looks like most of these companies are saying your Smart Cover will work just fine with one of the back protectors. Whether it will stay on as securely is still in question...
I wish there was something that covered most of the back..whats the points of only covering up to the camera and leaving like a half inch left around the edges?
Just ordered a Gelaskin. Thanks for the recommendation!I bought a gelaskin for use with my smart cover. I'm not sure if I'll use the front part, but I've used their skins since my 3G iPhone and they've always held up really well. Their iPad 2 skins start shipping on Monday.

I've ordered one bestskinever and one of DODOcase's book backs. Hopefully one of these will do the trick.
The point is that dodoback thing covers the areas that hit whatever surface you set it down on without getting anywhere near the switches and controls.
Nothings's going to please everyone though--Protection options are especially subjective.
The problem is the dodoback protects it if you set it down flat but when you use the smart cover to prop it up into keyboard tilt mode it doesn't look like it will protect the edge. Although if the dodoback is thick enough it may still work.
See if you have a PhantomSkinz in your area. Usually at malls.
Just had a black carbon fiber installed on the back. Looks nice. They have different color apples they can insert in the opening on the back as well as clear front covers. I do not have the skill or patience to install these myself.
