Hey guys, just thought I would share my fun pic. This is my wifes, sisters cat, the one that knocked the cabinet over that had my iPhone in it from the fireplace... I'm off to Apple store tomorrow, I'll let you know what they say/do... only 16 days old too :(

I imagine they'll say something like, "That will be $199 to repair."

    Sorry man

not going make fun in that situation I would be heartbroken and I have too dogs so I'd better not make fun, could happen to me! if you go on ebay you can get a LCD screen about $50-70 bucks too they say they are for the 3gs but I haven't seen any that mention Oleophobic coating not sure how big of a issue that is. lots of how too video's on ebay. or maybe you can find a genus that if you order it and buy him a beer he will do it. even though I'm not a cat fan glad you didn't hold a grudge with him. btw how far did it fall? again sorry! was it naked or in the case I can't tell for sure.

My psychic powers tell me that 9 feline lives are going to be rapidly used up... and maybe you should, um, take "Chinese food" to the genius bar to butter them up, lol!! Best luck, dude!

First get rid of the damn cat.

Then take your iPhone to the Apple store. And make your sister in law pay for it.

Man, you Americans have it easy. $199 to replace a phone? That's so cheap it's silly. $600 here in Sweden if you need a replacement.

It's not a replacement phone. They replace the glass.

And no, don't get rid of the cat.

I third that. Either the cat gets a job and gives you the $200, or its so long Mr. Whiskers.

Ya, can't really blame the cat, he was just exploring, its my fault for putting it in a spot like that. Sadly its the only spot at the cottage that gets reception... heading to the Apple store in a few hours, just on hold to make sure they can replace today (have the part)
