Well you can probably guess what my favorites smoke are by looking at my signature...

Having spent several yr's living in the caribbean I can tell you the best smokes in the world are cubans without a doubt. Anyone who tries to tell you differently doesnt know what they are talking about clear and simple... There is such a HUGE gap between cubans and any others that you cant compare them...

Only Hookah and the occasional cigar, if it is someones birthday. I tried cloves for a while but ended up not liking it and since I wasn't addicted I stopped before I got hooked.

They are different tastes, true. However, I wouldnt say that they are necessarily better. For instance, I have had a few Monte Cristo #2s and a couple H Upmanns which were definitely good, but I would rather have my Padron 26s (Nicaraguan) :)

Love the Padron 26s!!

Golden Virginia or Drum Light. Rolling tobacco is clearly the only way to roll the kind of "cigarettes" I like >_>

I think with so many threads about quitting it's kind of irresponsible to start this one...

Smoking is not good... So much lung cancer, emphysema, heart problems, list goes on and on..

this is not the right attitude.

There, instead of this, should be a thread about ways to quit and what works for certain people, not which brand you puff. :(

Honestly, this thread as well as many others have just as much right to be here as the "quitting smoking" threads. This thread does not promote smoking and it is a discussion. As a former smoker I'll be the first to tell you that no stupid discussion board made me want to take up quitting. This falls under the "if you don't like it then just ignore it" topic. It is not more irresponsible than say the one about "skinny girls" or that kid ghall's internet sexcapades.

And when I smoked, Marllboro Lights (sp)?

I smoked a pack a day for 3 years and quit cold turkey about a year ago. Really glad I did that, it took over 10 tries.

These days my favorite brand of smoke is all natural Mary Jane:D

Still smokin' the Golds. (USA Golds, that is)

I like smoking. Yes, I know all of the health risks and understand them, but still choose to smoke. Pretty much the same thing as eating unhealthy food, etc., IMO. I like doing it and will probably continue to do it until I don't like it anymore.

Awww, gotta smoke better stuff then --- or take a nice break. For me, I go 2-3 months daily smoking all natural Mary Jane, then 2-3 months without her --- I find that always lets me enjoy the highs :p

Hear, hear! Although I don't like cigarettes at all.

Yeah, I believe the biggest problem was that everyone around here started sacrificing quality, so that they could sell more and in turn, buy more pills. Not cool at all. :(

Oh, well. I may smoke again someday. Until then, I'll keep smoking my cigarettes. :p

47% of the people who participated in this thread when it originated are dead from smoking now.

That almost sounds like New Zealand, oh wait, they do and I was.

But for an inane on topic, I smoke 20 a day, roll your own (goes with the butch image) use Port Royal (Bourbon flavoured) started when I was 9, so that's 48 years. The chest xray last week - clear as a bell. But that's about all that is. Ahhh, life is soooo good. Pauses to tamp the cone of my wee pipe.

Grey Beard

the fact that you roll your own makes all the difference in the world. Youre not smoking all the crap they put in manufactured cigarettes.

I have smoked various different brands, and while I haven't smoked in a long while (figured there was no need to get addicted to an unhealthy and expensive habit when I could avoid it) I found American Spirits Yellow to be the only ones that didn't have a horrible after taste.

I do not smoke , though on occasion ( like every 4-5 years or so ) I have a cigar usually Romeo y Juliatta to celebrate an occasion.

There are some very odd social stigmas and social immunities that I've never understood. Various addictions are treated with varying levels of contempt, and beating them with various levels of reward recognition.
