When looking at the sent/received in settings that displays all data correct? Both 3G and wifi?

I look at my att account online. June 16th through July 17 I used 2gig.

If I remember correct I was using 4.0 the whole time and iPhone 4 from June 23rd.

My previous high was 1.6gig.

Thank you ios4.0+Pandora

Nope. It doesn't include wifi. Only 3G/Edge counts

I sincerely don't think that using your iPhone's general > usage setting on the sent/received shows you what AT&T is judging as data use.

On my phone right now, it's almost 1.2 GB's off from what the myWireless AT&T FREE app shows.

I suggest everyone get the AT&T app and login to their account and check under the "data" tab and see what it says.

I wonder how much data it'll start eating up when Hulu starts offering their service to everyone.

iP1 and 3GS and went over 200mb one time since 07'. With iP4, it's scary. I am not even streaming pandora or others, I did however do quite a bit of speedtesting and downloading some apps off wifi.

Current data (not show in the paid bills chart) says 2.1g so far this billing period. WTF? Good thing I kept unlimited-

Anyone know why this is using so much more data than the previous gen's? It appears that it is a data pig.

16.8gb total in 1 month. I tried to see how much I could possibly use in 1 month and this was the result. I used my 40 hours of Pandora, all web browsing, speed tests multiple times a day, downloading apps...anything I could do to use data I did.

Sooooooo glad I kept my unlimited plan!!

I have 586.4 MB for the month so far, 31 days after getting the phone.

However, I'm still about 2 weeks away from the end of the billing cycle. That being said, I believe that I will be at about 1 GB at the end of the cycle.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A306 Safari/6531.22.7)

Last month I used almost 300MB. Glad I kept my unlimited data plan.

About 2.4 gigs in the 1st month with the iP4. I'm 4 days into my current billing cycle and I'm already at 949.6 mb. I was at my college's orientation for the last couple days and the our VPN access hasn't been enabled, so I tethered with iproxy and racked all that data up.

So glad I was able to use the 2g iPhone loophole to get unlimited. I'm streaming Pandora so much recently.

I just got my very first iPhone (3GS couldn't wait for the 4) been using it for 3 days now and I've racked up about 218 mb.granted I hardly used it on 3G today

I got the 2gb plan and thought I would have to be careful, but with wifi at home and work, I've only manages to use 70mb. I'm thinking about downgrading, but I'll wait until I get back to school. The wifi on campus is horrible.

Still managed to rack up 400 mb with a wifi connection available 95% of the time.

my iphone actually showed up that it had used like 400mb of data before id even done anything on the phone?
i was the first person to touch the phone, opened on my own? was it subject to testing by apple? anyone else get this?

If you're checking under settings its giving you a mixture of wifi and 3g. Using AT&T call *3282#. I used only 1050mb and thats using slingbox constantly.
